FUNDRAISING ........

We are currently running a fundraiser for our kids, Nathan and Noah - who both have different rare genetic disorders. Please take a moment and read about them! We are trying to raise money for some things insurance doesn't cover, and to get to a conference next summer (2016) if we can. We are focusing on two things right now, both costing over $5,000. If you can donate, wonderful, every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated. Please click the link and check out our FUNDRAISER.. You can read their stories more by clicking on the page links above... You can also read more about what is going on with them at MY UNIQUE FLOWERS the blog where I do medical updates for them.

Our Cast of Characters

Our Cast of Characters
Noah (w/ Marnie), Calahan, Nathan & Kaedyn

Me – Annissa Rae (or Nissa Rae) …SINGLE MOMMY now ... spent 22 years married to two people, but that's over now... usually go by “Mommy” around here….or "Nonna" ... I am a writer, photographer, and my family is my world. I play SIMS and World of Warcraft. I fight daily with chronic pain and illness (Fibro/CFS, Diabetes, Degenerative Disc Disease)

Calahan Joseph – 23 – aka Moody Teen, Cal & Cal-Joe, He's my art, anime, game playing, orca, car loving son who has been through a lot for his young age. Currently he is engaged to Tina Marie (25). She is honestly the light in Calahan's eyes. She reminds me a lot of me, actually. I do like her a lot. She's getting out of a tough situation which included abuse on her ex's end. It was a situation where she had to make the choice to keep her daughter safe and not have her with her. She loves her baby and cries from missing her, but she knows she's in the right place right now.

Noah Alexander – 17 – aka "The boy who lived," Dolittle, No-No & Naughty. My stubborn, strong willed, micro preemie, rare genetic disorder, animal loving, Doctor Who, Minecraft, Dino loving Aspie MIRACLE man. He is also called Sasquatch these days.

Nathan Patrick – 12 – Buggy, Boo-boo, Tator, Tator-Tot, Nay-Nay, & Nater-Tator, "Paco" if you want to get his attention. My tiny little guy who has a growth disorder. He was my Blues Clues obsessed, Dino loving, YouTube watching, Minecraft playing, Autistic AMAZING fun loving boy. Today he is more into Roblox, Zelda & Mario Smash Brothers. He also loves cuddles! But now that he's in Jr. High he really wants to be more "normal" and less "little kid."

Kaedyn Phillip Russell – 10 – Bubba, Bubba-Rocks, Bubby, Monkey, Mookey, Kae-Kae, Big Budda Baby, Thumper, The Hobbit … He is the comic relief of the crew, the most emotional, mini-mommy, mini-chef, amazingly smart - math wiz ....he amazes us with his intelligentsia!! 2018/2019 he went to a school for the first time without Nathan in a long time - and that was hard for him. There were also other issues like bullying and something happened that scared him. It was to the point he was locking himself in the bathroom to not go. Realizing this was an issue, we took the chance, pulled him and now he's at home, doing online school. He already has such bad anxiety it's hard.

Kale (25) is our son from another mother. He is Elly's Daddy. Married to Brook (19)

We have three granddaughters... Claire-Bear (6) and Elly (4). I am Nonna and DB is Popi! We have been in Clairah's life since she was 18 months old and Elly's since before she was born. Now we have another little one to add to our clan. Miss Wednezday (1) is Tina's daughter. She is currently with Tina's family where she is safe, loved and adored. This is where she's staying right now.

DB – my SOON-TO-BE EX husband, my kids Dad, aka Dennis... I thought he truly was the love of my life, apparently not, or if he was - it's over. Our marriage wasn't perfect, but I thought it was amazing most the time. He's a trained Chef, and computer geek. Currently going to school for an IT Security Degree. We've been married TWELVE YEARS!! Almost together for 13 years. He is the only Dad that Cal and Noah have really known. He now lives in TX.

The Princess - DB's daughter from a previous relationship, my younger two boys half sister. She is 14. She lives with her Mom.

OUR FURRY FAMILY MEMBERS

Alyvia - my Black Cat ... aka "Livvy" or "Livvy-Lou"

Katy - Tabby/Tortie (I call her Katie too but Bubba likes Katy) Her actual name is Katheryn

Ely Mae (or Elly Mae, or Ellie Mae) - Mom & Step Dad's Dog

Jaxson - Boxer Shepard Dog, Adopted by my Mom & Russ (but he's totally my dog)

They also have cats: Bella, CeeCee, and Callie Joe. Along with Dude.

Other Key Players in our life ...

Mom & Russ (my Mom & Step-Dad) ... I will refer to Russ as my "Dad" a lot too ... so if I say "Mom & Dad" I'm usually referring to Russ.

*JO* and her honey *A* ... we just met not to long ago but Jo and I have connected on a very unique level!

Ashley - my cousin/sister ... Zach's her man, she has three girls, Autumn (step-daughter), Alycia & Harley Quinn and just had her first little boy Jameson (on 8-4-18, he share's Elly's birthday now!)

Heather - my sister (Irish Twin) ... her Mom was my Mom's best friend, she died and so my Mom adopted Heather. ... lives in Georgia currently - with her hubby Jeremy (my brother-in-law)

*J* ... my best friend. *P* is her husband. They have two girls *S* is the same age as Noah, an *Jo* is a year younger. They lost their son (my nephew) Jackson at 31 weeks in the pregnancy, after 9 years of infertility. He was born with his wings on 12.31.16.

*S* and I go back a long ways, we've been through a lot. We recently reconnected and I'm so happy about it. We were apart for awhile...

Sam is my sister-in-law, she has my niece Myra (9). She's definitely one of my best friends. And Myra is also DB & my Goddaughter. We're super honored about that.

I have more gals I consider best friends. Cathy is probably my best friend I've known the longest - we are also very much like sisters, which I feel with all my really good friends. Cathy and I don't need to talk every day but our love for each other is epic. There is Lisa & Missy ... I've been friends with each of them since 1999.
