Planting & Clairah!

I feel like crap today.  But I really want/need to spend some time with the family - while NOT being in my bed.  So I'm gonna push myself today.  And tomorrow..... my baby turns 14.  So yeah, I have to push myself tomorrow too.

This little sweetie...  she's checking out that baby doll bottle....  wondering why the heck she's not getting anything out of it...

So Kaedyn did a planter out of a 2-liter bottle in Scouts one night... and I had seen it on PINTEREST too...  but I thought it was awesome...  So we did it with 1.5 liters too.   So some were smaller - some were bigger.  I found the 2 liters were a lot easier to work with.

So - 2 liter bottle, the pic of the cleaned out de-labeled bottles.  You cut the bottles in half.   You flip the top part of the bottle and you put it upside down in the bottom half.   So the neck is pointed to the bottom of the bottle. Then take a couple strips of felt cloth and put it in the bottom (or the neck of the bottle that's upside down)  This way, you can water the plants, and you make sure there is water in the bottom half, it acts as a "self waterier" ...

So I did some with each of the younger kids individually ....  Kaedyn was really excited to do it, so he was begging to be first.  I kinda - actually - did Kaedyn and Clairah at the same time...

Here are all the planters we did - we had more, and plenty of seeds, but we ran out of soil.

We have them sitting in our front window - but on warmer days I'm going to put them out on our front patio.

But Clairah wanted her "Doc Mobile" ... from Doc McStuffins...  and so her and Kaedyn were playing with it, mostly, and Nathan joined in.  They started treating their various stuffed animals (they did this for hours!) ...

I hadn't gotten any FULL family photos since Elly was born.  So I wanted to get some - so I took some quick shots.  I want to take them out to a park and get some good GOOD photos of them all.

Then I had to go get back in bed - the pain was just suck-ass.  So Clairah came in to keep me company and she ate dinner with me, and Elly was hanging out with Shila too...  and eventually everyone in the family worked their way into the room at some point.  So I just kept snapping pictures.

Finally meds were given and kids started dropping like flies.  Kaedyn sleeping with Marshmellow ...  Mellow is his buddy.  I like how Mellow gets to use the pillow and Kaedyn is all pushed down...

And that was today......  and boy o' boy was it a day.

SIMS kinda Life....

So he took them off and she acted like she got offended....

Anyway - I was playing SIMS 4.  I am a SIMS 3 girl.  I love SIMS  ... SIMS and World of Warcraft are my games. But when all the hype started to come out for SIMS 4 I was crazy excited.  My girlfriend and I were drooling over every released pre-release video the production team released. DROOLING.  We played with with release of CAS (Create A SIM) ....

I was sooooooooooooo excited about so many aspects, except for a few.  Like..... no Toddlers???  PISSED ME OFF.  I love my toddlers.  I am a family player.  I like have a max house all the time. I want MORE people in the house.  Yeah - I need the ability to expand my house - to about - 100...  yep.

At first there were no pools and basements, but they fixed that - so I won't bitch about that.

But I like being able to roam around the whole town. And this whole neighborhood thing - that...... sucks.  I hate it.  HATE IT.  But I keep my SIMS at home usually anyway - unless.... I'm trying to get them laid married.  Anyway ....

Then the game came out.  I played it.  Instantly hated it.  Not only did they screw around with all this game stuff, but they screwed around with the controls and I can't fucking figure it out.  Like to the point where I want to punch my hand through my screen pissed me off.  So I stopped playing.

But - not having internet for a few days, I got bored a bit, especially being sick and in bed most the time... so I tried to play SIMS 3 and it wouldn't launch (turns out it had an update) and I was left with the option of SIMS 4.  Yep.  So yeah......

I figured out the controls, and I actually started to enjoy it.  So I was telling Cal all about it - and what all the differences are from 3 ... and various other stuff.  We ended up talking about it for several hours.  ha ha h ..

So this was my SIM....   Avery Dixon.  She bought a big chunk of land and built a little house to start out with.

There is no cheating with the needs - no sliding the bars .... can't quicken up the friendships right away, no you have to build that shit up from nil...  AND you have to have a certain friendship level before you can even start a romance or you are going to get negative responses.  I WANT MY CHEATS!  LOL....

Well - Avery went from being single...  to this.... family woman.  She met Herman (yes, Herman) ...  He's the guy in the blue shirt and blond hair.  Avery is the one standing up.  Okay.  So she met Herman at the park, and chat chat chat get to know deep conversation blah blah ...  until about half way.  I cheated and made him join my family so I could work on it better.  So we got to half way, and then I was able to start the romance stuff....  started that.... got to a certain point, he asked her to be his girlfriend, he proposed, he asked her to marry him - bam bam bam - then they went and made a baby...  and she took a pregnancy test and it was positive and then they got married at the park where they met.  WONDERFUL - right?

So - a couple SIMS days later, she gave birth to a little girl, Alyvia.  He was on the computer at the time, and for shits and giggles I wanted to check out the adoption thing, so I had him adopt a baby boy named Finnagen.  So they basically had twins.  Only one was adopted... with brown hair. So they aged up to child and started bringing friends home from school.  Avery got pregnant again.  I wanted to try to do another cheat where you can force an amount of babies she would have - and I did that.  Triplets.  SO she had the triplets (it was complicated but it worked!) and then went over to the computer and I thought, oh - I just want to look at who's up for adoption now, and it popped up and low and behold - THERE WAS ONE OF THE KIDS FRIENDS that they had been bringing home like every day.  And I think - OMGosh - no wonder they were always hanging around our house!  LOL....  so I couldn't NOT adopt her.  I'm not heartless!!!

So this is the Dixon family.  Avery is Mom, standing up in the purple top.  Herman - Dad - is sitting with the blond hair and blue sweater.  Sitting next to Herman, the little blonde girl with the yellow shirt is Lakeisha, she is the little girl adopted the day the triplets were born.  So basically, at that point, she had older triplets, and younger triplets. Only two of the older ones were adopted.  Okay.  Next to Lakeisha is Finnagen, the other adopted one.   At the end of the table, black shirt with the mohawk type hair is Aiden - one of the younger triplets, then it's Abram and Audrey (those three are the younger triplets.)... And next to Avery is Alyvia - the first born.

Here it's Lakeisha, Finn, Alyvia - and then Abram, Audrey and Aiden.  Okay - so I am doing a generation thing - I decided.  The biological children are all going to have names starting with the same letter of the alphabet (the ones I have control over anyway) ...  so my next generation will be Alyvia and her children, and all her children will start with the letter B .... then the letter C for the next generation, and any adopted kids will keep their given names.  (I didn't name Lakeisha - it's the name she already had. Although, I could have changed her name..)

This is the house now (well no, it's not - I changed it recently - it's all red now instead of this two toned whatever crap) ... but it's three levels, with a basement.

This is Lakeisha in the basement (where all the collections stuff is stored) ...  I had to show this because the fossils (rocks) ... the 4th one in the row is a fossilized utter.  Yep.  And utter.

Instead of Gnomes (which I miss) it seems we have these little doll things to collect.

Anyway - this is Avery and Herman.  They are standing on the road  outside their house.

So this is the whole family out on a fishing trip one day -they had a picnic.  And the stranger with the green sweater, pink skirt, orange socks and black hat.  But ...  there is Alyvia (by the trash can) ... and at the table behind her is Avery, Herman, Abram and Audrey.  The other table is Lakeisha, Aidan, and Finn.

So I have been working really hard at Avery's garden and managed to get a cow plant.

I don't know too much about them yet, I haven't read up on them.  But Avery would feed him, we'd find him with his tongue hanging out with a piece of cake...

Lakeisha clicked on it once and I picked eat cake (after saving my game) and the cow plant swallowed the girl whole, and then puked her out.

So we manage to tend the garden really well, and feeding the cow plant so it doesn't eat any SIMS ....  and ... I went to go tend the garden (literally wasn't like I hadn't taken care of it the SIMS day before) and some of the plants had just gotten dry, and I found the cow plant like this.   I guess it was a fail.

So - yeah.... I'll stop boring the life outta my readers (if there are any) with this.

So.....  Dennis made some AMAZING Chili today ....

And my right foot was so swollen today and pale.  Weird.  So ... been babying my foot.

Scary though - with everything going on with me.  I have a heart issue, I have a murmur and I guess (I was told) that half my heart is larger than the other because it's working harder ...  and I've been having more "signs" of heart issues going on - so I need to get my heart checked very soon.
