HAPPY THANKSGIVING .... x 2 ......

We decided to have our own little Thanksgiving ... with just our family, and we invited Alana.  Since (cough cough) most likely Alana will be part of our family ....  

So Calahan has been sick, and Alana has been waiting on him to go see Catching Fire together....  so they went this morning, the earliest show.  She had some movie gift cards, and thought they would work at the local theater.  Well, I didn't think so but was told they called and checked.   So the plan was for me to take Cal down to the theater and meet them there.  We get down there, and of course, I do my thing...  "get over by the movie poster now or else...." ha ha ha ...  so they humor me.

 Well - we go up to the ticket booth (since they aren't 18, I like to make sure there isn't an issue) ....  and she hands me her gift cards, so I show the guy and he says "we don't take those" ....  I said "I didn't think so" and she hands me her 20 dollars she brought with too.   I give it to the guy, get the tickets, ask him if he knows if ten dollars will be enough to get a drink and popcorn, he tells me yes, so I hand Cal ten bucks.  

They didn't use it...  I figure there is no fun going to the movies with out at least a drink.   Course, I can't deal without always having something to drink....  

So after the movie, I went and picked them up.   Took them back to our place ....   Alana immediately fell in love with the kittens....

So I was taking pictures of all the kids........ first the boys, then all five of them........

and turned the camera on DB and I ........  the kids insisted we kiss....  I didn't have the camera right just so he'd keep kissing me... ha ha ha ha ....

Then it was time for FOOD ........

 Noah was crazy confused on why I wanted to take a picture of him with his food ... LOL...

After we ate we just sorta let the kids do their thing.   We left it up to Alana or not to open up her gifts since we weren't sure that she'd be able to come over before Christmas again ...  

Alana loved her gifts .... she opened up the jewelry and immediately turned around and kissed Calahan ....  it was cute.  I didn't get the kiss.. just the hug.   We got her a jewelry box because I didn't know if she had one (turns out she didn't and was using a earring box) ...   and this isn't the first jewelry she got.   So Cal got her a heart necklace and earrings, Noah got her a little Mickey snowglobe, and the Littles got her the infinity scarf.  Plus Cal drew a picture for her.   (to see the pictures of what we got her go look at the Black Friday blog) ...  

Kids pretty much played Wii together for the rest of the night!

This is how I feel about it.

Honestly though - it wasn't that bad.  There were no trampling experiences, everyone was rather nice and not rude...  there was no crazy lady licking the TV's to claim them from others who were trying to grab them ...   at least, in our area.

After last night - Mom and I went out for round TWO!   We were going to stop at Target last night but seeing as the line was all the way wrapped around and back to the restaurant behind it....... we passed.

So we hit Toys R Us for ROUND TWO .........

Then stopped at J.C. Pennys ...   and then Target.

Then we decided we were done, Mom took me to her place to wrap stuff....  which I couldn't do since she had no tape .....  so then she took me home.  

 It was crazy foggy when we left.  You couldn't even see the mountains.

Yes there is mountains behind that fog....  

And then...  when we left Target, I loved how the fog was just hanging on the trees....

 Anyway ........  I got a few things......  my first infinity scarf, it has like a galaxy design...   I got a Game of Thrones shirt - woot!  ...  too bad almost all the Starks are DEAD ..... (growl) ...  still my favorites, along with the MOTHER OF DRAGONS .... she's kick ass.. anyway - and since the kids broke my last winter jacket, my mom MADE me get a jacket.  We managed to find one for about $50 ....  the stupid thing was like $300 reg price.

So while at Mom's ........ I piled everyone's gifts in piles.........  this one is Noah's pile...

 This is what Santa is bringing this year.   Skylanders Swap Force, Disney Infinity ... along with new guys for both.

 We also got Alana her gifts .    She got an infinity scarf too ...  this is from Nathan and Kaedyn

We got three of these, JCPennys was giving them out.   Figured each of the boys would want one (Noah, Nathan, Kaedyn) ...  I was going to put them in their stockings...  but they were in the wrong bag (my fault) and Kaedyn found it ... opened it...... Nathan wanted his ...  Noah saw them and he says "I bet Alana would like that" and I said ....  "she might" ....  then he goes "Maybe I should give mine to her?"  ... I told him it was up to him, and he decided he wanted to - so this is from Noah.  

 I put lights up around the boys bed in hopes it might help ease fears and keep them in THEIR bed more...

Marnie likes to bundle herself up ...

And Max is almost the same size of her now (at 11 weeks)

Nathan fell asleep in my bed.....  always with the feet out - just - like - me.......  I can't stand to have my feet covered....

 Kaedyn is all .........  yeah ........ and........   LOL
