Today was a good day....

I am two weeks post toe amputation ....  I'm trying to catch up on the whole "Black Toe Saga  - Life and Death of Judith" .... Judith is my toe in case you didn't know.... the one that got amputated.  All those blogs will be back dated ....

Judith is gone. Now my fourth toe is in danger. Fourth toe is named Ruby.  My friend named my toe Judith and DB named Ruby .... but it fits because she's pretty red... long live Ruby .... And with Ruby in danger, my pinkie toe would be in danger too.  Doc G sewed Ruby and my pinkie toe (aka Lilith) together to create a better blood supply for the two toes as a whole... in hopes to give them a better chance to be saved....  So I'm naming the pinkie toe.... Lilith and at this point might as well name the rest, so how about Cecily and Eunis?

So this is how it goes....

1st Toe (big toe): Eunis
2nd Toe: Cecily
3rd Toe (middle toe): Judith
4th Toe: Ruby
5th Toe (pinkie toe) Lilith

So Judith succumbed to her infection and she was put to rest on  September 21st 2019.  She was cremated with the other hospital waste ... but at least she went out with some polish on her!

So Eunis has a cut at the base of the toe, on the bottom of the foot.  Cecily is just standing tall and strong.  Ruby - you can see is darkened a bit but it's not gangrene ... not sure what is going on totally but it likes to bleed when I clean it which Doc S says is a good sign...  but after taking Judith, Ruby and Lilith are sewn together ...

I feel like this is going to be a never ending story ... I'm pretty scared I am going to lose my foot in the long run but ..... ::: deep breath::: I am trying not to think about that ...

I currently have a big hole on the top of my foot where those stitches are... that's where the big pocket of infection was that squirted out like a freaking volcano and hurt like a .... mo'fo....

Today my foot hurts a bit .... pressure on Lilith and Ruby is really uncomfortable but it's especially uncomfortable and painful when there is pressure on Lilith....

Today I actually got chatty on Twitter ....

It was a pretty good day overall :D

I did watch Finn Road and IMO I think it was the best one out of the whole collection.  I was having palpitations because the evil was practically palpable ..... and I am usually working/doing something on my laptop and not ALWAYS paying complete attention to the TV and I didn't realize that someone else from Ghost Hunters (OG) would be called upon ....  and at one point Steve (Prozak)

(Of course I recognized him right here just by his profile....  I was like ...  is that STEVE?  That's STEVE!)

With that....... Goodnight....

Late Night Sick Fest..

It was a looooooooooong night.  L.O.N.G.  Shortly after 6pm last night, Kaedyn was walking out of the room to do something, and he got just by the end of my bed, and *mulghhhh* he puked all over the place, all over my bed, my comforter, sheet, foot board, floor.  Ugh>  I get the bucket under him.  Hope this is short lived.

He was spiking a fever, has been complaining of a sore throat, runny nose, just over all not feeling well...

He spent ALL night throwing up.  Literally was every 20 to 40 minutes.  At first because of the "cold" type symptoms, I thought maybe it was the flu (influenza flu) because of all the cold type symptoms he has.  I thought maybe...  but with him throwing up the way he was, I figure it's more gastrointestinal.  But a bunch of my FB friend were happy to tell me the actual flu is respiratory and not the typical "stomach flu" that people mistake for the actual flu you get the shot for.

I do know the difference.  However, Noah was really sick for two days, we spent twelve hours in twice.  He was throwing up, he couldn't keep any food down.  YS , couldn't keep anything down.  He teased positive for influenza A So yeah, I know that the flu is going around the county and there are already 5 deaths associated with the flu, 4 of which had the flu shot.  All of them were older (60 and up) ... so it's going around and it seems like the flu shot isn't covering whatever type is rolling around in our county anyway ..

So yeah, I'm scared.  Cant's afford for Nathan to get sick like that - he'd probably end up in the hospital.  He is officially a year and a half fo in the hospital here at hom.

He was throwing up every 20 to 40 minutes, you could almost set a wtch to it...  then he'd roll over and try to sleep.

So he started to feel better.  The vomiting stopped about 2am.  When he was feeling up to staying up for a bit, he told me he wanted to watch Ghost Adventures.  He loves watching it with me.

So Nick left Ghost Adventures and he's doing a new show called Paranormal Lockdown....where he and Katrina - from Paranormal State - are in a location for 72 hours instead of just a day and night.

So last night's Paranormal Lockdown was at Waverly Hills. I have been fascinated with Waverly Hills Sanatorium (in Louisville, Kentucky) since I was a teenager.  It's a hospital that treated tuberculosis in the masses, it was also known as the "white death" ... there was no treatment and no cure ... but at Waverly, they were trying to find something to help too.  So things happened that probably, in the long run, didn't help either.

I was telling Kaedyn that my grandpa was adopted by his Aunt (his Dad's sister) ... because his Dad and Mom both had tuberculosis.  His Dad died a couple months after he was born, and his Mom died when he was about 3 years old.  So Waverly has always been a huge interest and has been one of my favorite haunted places. I hope someday I get to visit there.   Yeah...  I am weird.

So at the beginning of Paranormal Lockdown: Waverly Hills ... it's said this is Nick's third time there and Katrina's first.  So I was telling Kaedyn that Nick was there with the Ghost Adventure's crew and asked if he wanted to watch that first.  He said he did, so we pulled it up and started to watch it.

Sick kids though.. I swear.  He spent most of the day in waves of feeling better and feeling bad.  Luckily, despite the waves, he didn't throw up anymore.
Here is Kaedyn laying down and Nathan in his own world....

Nathan built this thing from the blocks and stuff that Kaedyn got for Christmas ...  Kaedyn has made a vacuum and a sniper rifle ... lol.. they have fun.  But here you can see that Nathan is on my laptop.  I lose my laptop to this kid everytime his tablet is dead, and today I just could NOT get his tablet to charge properly ...  ugh...

Here's hoping no one else gets sick.  Cuz........  no.... just ..... no.

Reality TV Run-Down...

Dancing With The Stars
I have to say that my two favorite couples are definitely Melanie Brown & Maksim
And Jennie Garth w/ Derek

I definitely think it's a girls year ... I'm not watching every night and every week, but I've seen most the episodes and I definitely thing that Jennie and Melanie are the top runners. If only Jennie would get over her nerves she'd do so much better and shoot up to the top runner.
And can I just ask........ WHAT IS WITH THAT OUTFIT??

America's Next Iron Chef
I was soooooooooooooooooo happy when Michael Symon won!! Dennis was cheering for Besh and me for Symon... we saw both these guys on Iron Chef America and liked them both, and I know we both would have been happy with either of those two winning but I really like Symon ... he's just funny ... and I thought he would make a good addition to the crew...
The Bachelor
Ol' Brad is down to 2 girls...... and might I add, the two girls that noticed a serious connection with from day one...
DeAnna ... the greek Goddess... and Jenni... the Dancer...
Personally I think Jenni will be the winner, but honestly - I don't think he could go wrong with either girl, he has a serious connection with both of them, however - I just feel there is more of one with Jenni - for what I've seen on the shows. Everytime he sees her - he makes some comment about how it's been too long since they had seen each other, or how much he misses her... now he says the same sort of thing to DeAnna, however it doesn't seem the carry the same punch of senerity that it carries when he says things like that to Jenni.
I cannot wait until next week to see the final...
The Amazing Race
Two episodes down.... about 8 or so more to go? Usually by now, I have a favorite team, and this season I just don't.... I think Ronald was very very hard on Christina this past week, I thought it was such a sweet thing - them going through this to bring the two of them closer, and then he starts to act as if he knows all instead of just admitting that he doesn't. And then Donald stripping down to ... well... we'll never know now will we? That was just.... interesting. Otherwise - I'm still trying to figure out the teams...

Survivor

One question........... why haven't they gotten rid of Courtney yet? Todd's plan to make sure James survived T O T A L L Y backfired and I've been laughing about it ever since. Serves them right. I mean - who in their right mind would give someone an immunity idol and then reveal the location to the other one... Okay - let's think about this? Why not just GIVE the guy the location of the hidden immunity idol at the other camp and then say "good luck!" ... do not give him the one you got..... now he has 2 hidden immunity idols and.... well yeah - everyone else is swimming in their shorts. Dennis doesn't like any of them.... he doesn't want to he says they screwed it all up... LOL...

Ghost Hunters...
Waverly was a bit disappointing... Timmy moved the ball but I was hoping for more :( I love this show though...... heehee... I thought my girl Dianna would love the above pic! LOL
