Camp Parsons Bound!!

Camp Parsons bound! Got off about an hour later than we wanted....I blame the tiny child that keep me up last night

It's not .......... that.............. far...............

We're There!!!

We checked in and got our map and stuff....

Our first stop was the First Aid Tent .....  The boys learned to make a stretcher out of a tarp today ... or even a sleeping bag ... and save someone!  

Nate got to be the "victim"

Nathan tried SO HARD to save a little baby today .... he was doing CPR as hard as he could... He really wanted to figure out what this half a baby was for....  and he tried real hard to do what the guy was doing.  He was the only one too ...

Lesson in BB Gun Safety .....

Kids got to shoot .... Noah and Nathan ... (with Daddy)

Kaedyn and I watched from safety .....

Um.......... I never thought that I would think that a picture of my son holding a gun would be *cute* ... but ... I do.  I can't believe Nathan got a bullseye .... future Top Shot contestant here!

Then we moved onto shooting arrows which is something Nathan REALLY REALLY wanted to do .. but he couldn't - he wasn't strong enough :(   Noah got to though....

Safety Lesson .....

We moved onto the Campfire .....

The kids got to roast hot dogs and marshmallows, and make smores. There were a couple of funny stories here .... 1: Kaedyn wouldn't eat his hot dog because it was "dirty" had charcoal marks ... lol... so I ate it. 2: Nathan only ate half his first hot dog because it got cold, he handed it to me while the other two kids were coming at me with stuff too ... so I ended up sticking his half a hot dog in my pocket.   They were doing all kinds of things like Pizza and Turnovers ... super creative!

Tried our hand at the Climbing Wall - though ... it wasn't very big ....

We hiked out to the water where we were supposed to be able to skip rocks, but there were a bunch of people there doing a scuba diving class - so ....  didn't think it would be appropriate to have the kids throwing rocks at people....  probably ...  a bit... frowned... upon....   so we took some pics :)   Continued our hike....

We got into the camping area, where there are some cabins....  and the boys wanted to check them out.....  

Finished our hike down....  Nathan picked up a walking stick......

Stopped at some of the other water where we were supposed to turn over rocks and see what kind of animal life was under them, but by the time we go there - the tide was up and a lot of that was just done....   scattered away .....  so we threw rocks instead... ha ha ha ....  

Kaedyn and Noah both fell asleep in the car, along with myself. Nathan was awake and zoning off ... LOL... stopped at Nana's... fixed the garage, Nathan ate her out of Strawberries ... they rode their bikes over there ... left, got pizza, stopped at the grocery store ... came home. Cal is being a sweetie and unpacking the car for me. I'm hurting on top of hurting (so is Dennis) ... I have a massive headache so I'm hiding in my semi quiet room ...
