Muchas Gracias Monday!

I admit, I sooooooooooo do NOT want to be awake right now....  much less alive.  I'd rather just skip over all this until I'm feeling better and then have a great day :D   But no..... right now I've been fighting being sick, really sick, for a couple days - right now it feels like I allowed a truck to run over the left side of my face, yeah ... what was I thinking???   I'm pretty sure my miserable cold has turned into a sinus infection.  Not to mention my poor lungs hurt too.

So when I saw Kim TWITTER about her new MEME ... I  was sooooooooo shouting "Yay!  I'm game" because who likes Mondays?!?!?!   Seriously???   So why not take a few moments and BE THANKFUL to bring a little cheer into Mondays!!   Great Meme Kim!!  I love it!

So what am I thankful for???

1:  I am thankful that my husband is home right now and taking care of the kids isn't my sole responsibility right now because of sad truck running over my head...   it makes things a lot easier.   I even got a 5 hour nap yesterday ... yeah 5 hours!  Must be dying...

2:  I am thankful for the health of my children right now!  Having two kids who were preemies who have medical issues, you are always thankful for the healthy days!!

3: I am thankful we have some nummy left over chicken from last night and some uber stock that hubby made and we're going to have us some tasty home made soup today ...

4: I will be thankful if the check we're waiting for comes in the mail today ... but at this point, I'm not counting on it...

5: I'm thankful for all the smiles and giggles that I'm rewarded with everyday...  not to mention, all the "I love you"s that I get :D

6: Gotta give a nice, I am soooooooo thankful, to the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers that will help me remove all of Picasso's artwork!

7:  I am thankful for being able to tune out my children when they are chatting on obsessively ..  I mean, really, do I need to know every step of every game you play...  the moody teen was telling me how he had to kill this big boss last night and how he had to pull out the heart and all this stuff (shakes head) ... I told him that if he continues to make me suffer through that, he will suddenly become to young to play it.   Doesn't stop him though....  he's got to tell me about the weapons he gets and how it's an upgrade from this other weapon, and blah blah stinkin blah....  and then Dolittle was just chatting in my ear about Bakagan and how he's gotta do this and that and deleted this game so he could get this guy and ... I donno... I was tuning him out!  Muahhahahahahaa....

8:  I am thankful every time we go to sleep at night, my husband says so sweetly, "Goodnight my love," to me.  It melts my heart.

Oh one last thing....

9:  I am thankful that I can just hand out cookies for breakfast on days like this.... and everyone is happy!   I mean, flour, butter, sugar, milk ... yep - it's all good, right???
