The Dingo Ate My Baby ... *NoBloPoMo 29*

I have 4 very dear friends to me.  They are like sisters.  Each one unique, in their own way, each one a huge part of my heart...  There is *C*, she has been one of my very dear friends since we were early teens.  We are a lot alike in the way we grew up...  single moms, only children.... both country city girls growing up without a Daddy right there.  (Don't get me wrong, I love my Dad, he just wasn't there everyday) ...  Then there is *ME2* .. she is the "2" to my "ME" ... heehee...  I remember sitting on the floor ... in highschool, infront of a friends locker.  She was new, another friend brought her over to the group to introduce her.  Me?  I was writing... and I had just finished a short story about a girl... and a vampire... and I shoved it up at her, said "Here, read this... tell me what you think?" ...me, always looking for opinions on what I write.  Now (or at least a lot of the time) ... we spend the day bantering over email, and we read whatever the other is working on ... and we greatly enjoy it.  Then there is my Jennabean.  She and I bonded over having babies due at the same time, and having them come early.  She and I are so much a like, it can almost be scary.  And now, the newest one to join the crew, is Ami.  The bond that we have is so deep, so quickly, it's scary.  It really is.... skery!  It's like we've known each other FOREVER .... All four of them, I consider sisters.  They are my kindred spirits, as Anne says.  (And if you don't know what that means, you really SHOULDN'T be my friend)

However..... *C* is in WI....  *ME2* is in Seattle (not far but not around the corner) .... Jennabean is in NC and Ami is upstairs!

My girls are spread out.  I wish they weren't............ (The rest of this blog has been removed cuz it's no longer happening)

Things are back to normal....er... sorta .... *NoBloPoMo 28*

So ..... yesterday morning, two teenagers in this house butted heads.  There was a pretty serious accusation made.  But we don't know who's telling the truth.   So because of all this, Calahan left the house for the night, and we were all crying and trying to figure stuff out because we all love both these kids and all four of us (both sets of parents) felt stuck in the middle between both of them.  I love Kenzie to death, and I love Calahan to death.  I saw both of them telling their truth and neither story remotely matched.  I felt both of their pains, from not being absolutely believed.  Ya know, as a parent, how you can tell your kids are telling the truth.  Usualaly when they lie they have one way of acting, and when they are being truthful, the have a way of acting.  Well, Calahan will get angry if he's done something wrong and is caught, he will get pissed if you accuse him of something that he did, or he'll smile because he knows he's been caught red handed.  Not last night, he was calm, flat faced and didn't get pissed.  Kenzie apparently (according to her parents) cries when she's telling the truth.  Well, basically ....... Kenzie and Calahan are suppose to pretend the other doesn't exist.  They aren't to look at each other, or talk to each other. They suppose to stay out of each others spaces...Kenzie's brother said to me tonight.... "Kenzie lies about stuff like this all the time, I don't think he did it" ... but at this point, who know.  Seriously - no one was there but him and Kenzie.

Yeah, the situation isn't fun for anyone.  But at least we have a resolve .....  for now.  Obviously, the truth is somewhere in the middle.  And Cal is going to be going back into therapy.  I'm tired of dealing with his anger issues.  They got better, then worse, then better, then worse... and have continued to stay this way since we were moved to WA prettys much.  I honestly wonder if maybe a military school would be good for him.  He is a good kid, don't get me wrong.  But when he's not in a situation he wants to be in, then he's quick to jump on the angry carpet ride.  IE: If he doesn't have his own room, if it's not just our family - if there are any outsiders in the same house.... he's just not accepting.  His anger is quick to flare and when he's not on his meds, (in the early morning or late at night).

All I can say, is ... they are both a couple of dumb teenagers right now.

Tomorrow, we're going to carry on with "HAPPINESS" cuz I can't take this crap anymore.  We're going to finish moving out of the uber house with the spectacular view and put a ton of stuff into storage, again.  And we're going to carry on with our getting stuff paid off, building up our credit and living in the dungeon .... until we can save up to move again.  Hopefully, by then, Dennis will be in the shipyard.  Sadly, I think this is going to have to be sooner then later too.

Maybe we should just move to Forks, and go knock on the Cullen's door.  Ask them to take care of him.... hell, ask if we can all move in.  Or better yet, go live with Jacob.  At least he'll keep us warm when it's cold outside :D

Don't really feel like talking ... *NoBloPoMo 27*

This is what happened in our household tonight........
as much as I want to talk about it, I don't.......

Stuck....caged in.....*NoBloPoMo 26*

I feel very caged in right now.....stuck and I cannot get out right now, there is really no escape in sight for awhile...who knows when....because I am caged, so are my kids... why?  Because there is a house full of company for our room-mates, and we're pretty much stuck downstairs.

Giving Thanks .... *NoBloPoMo 25*

Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone in the Bloggoshere ...  I hope everyone had an amazing holiday with lots of food, company (Family & Friends) .... laughter...... and happiness.  I know that we all try to remember what we are thankful for year round but today just seems to be the day to really deeply reflect on what you are thankful for!!

So for this Thanks Giving Season.... I Give Thanks.....

For my Family .... My immediate family - Dennis and the boys...  I am thankful for them all.  I have the most amazing husband, and even though he's not perfect (who is?) he is absolutely perfect for me.  For my kids, Calahan who taught me how to be a Mom.  He's my trial run for just about everything... if it doesn't work with him, try something different with the rest (lol) ... For Noah, who I fought through 5 years of deep dark infertility for, five miscarriages between Cal's twin and the four between Cal & Noah... it wasn't an easy road.  Even though I was told he wouldn't live to see the world out of utero, he did and he thrived, and for that, I am extremely thankful every day!  For Nathan, the first baby between Dennis and I and my second unique miracle.  He reminds us every day to smile and to believe that no matter how hard things get, there is always reasons to smile and laugh.  And for my little Mini-Me Kaedyn...  he has the ability to make my heart melt, sore and break with just particular looks he gives me.  He has got the best smile in the world.  I am thankful, as is Dennis, for the Princess who isn't with us.  We think about her everyday and we wish the situations were different, but we can't change things..... yet.  She is loved, and she is part of our family, regardless of where she is.

I am thankful for my Mom, who is amazing in every way.  She has been my best friend and my Mom.  I can talk to her about just about anything.  I am thankful for the rest of my family.... without them, I wouldn't be who I am.  I love them all :)

My Friends - they are an amazing bunch.  My four Besties ... Jenna, Cathy, Sarah & Ami... I love you girls like sisters!!  You each have, at times, reached out and held me up while I've been crumbling, as I hope I've done for them.  The bonds with these four women that I have, are a lot stronger and deeper then just "friendship" ... As for the rest of my friends, I love all of you too.  You know who you are!!  If I call you my friend, I mean it.  Even my bloggy friends, a lot of you are just absolutely AMAZING women (and men) and I am lucky to get peeks into your lives through your blogs, with the births and growth of your children, through dating and marriages, through infertility struggles and triumphs.

Health - I am extremely thankful for the health of my kids. Yes, we may have struggles, we may have hurdles, and it may feel like we get new diagnoses every time we turn around with Nathan but things could be worse, and over all him and Noah are relatively healthy and they are both strong fighters or they wouldn't be here. I am thankful that Calahan and Kaedyn are healthy and the little glitches in their lives health wise have been overcome or easily solved for the most part.  I am thankful that Dennis is a little better here and his migraines haven't been so bad and his other health issues haven't been at such a forefront with him.  I am thankful that, even though I am going through a relapse, that I can still fight through it and function normally.

Comfort - I am thankful for the roof over our heads, the warmth that we have ... the food we manage to provide, the running water, the hot showers, the warm blankets, comfortable beds and furniture... for washer and dryer...... for the internet, for TV and movies, for books, for blogs...... for cameras and all the other things that I enjoy and use on a daily basis that comfort me and make me feel at "home" and give me an outlet for my creativity or my escape.  I am thankful for the car we have, it doesn't fit our whole family, but we manage for now.

I am thankful for much more, but I am tired, and my comfortable bed and soft blankets are calling.  I hit most the important things.  I hope that you did take a minute to reflect on what you are Thankful for today, and if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving because you don't live in the States... I hope that you took a moment of reflection just because of the abundance of "Thankful" posts you've seen today!  Teehee....

Happy Thanksgiving *NoBloPoMo 24*

I just wanted to wish all my blogging friends a very HAPPY HAPPY Thanksgiving if you celebrate ... We wish you warm hugs, laughter, family smiles and lots of love.  We hope that you think about all the things that you are thankful for today, not that you don't think about that every day but today in particular seems to be the day to just sit back and reflect with your family, and how thankful you are for all the friends, family, and good things in your life.  To remember that things can always be worse and to enjoy what you have.  Maybe even throw a dream or two in there of things you would like to have in the future...  and just remember ... someone out there loves you!

Happy Thanksgiving ... Drive Safe.... Stay Warm ...  and most importantly.... EAT!  Heehee...

More Snow in WA ... *NoBloPoMo 22*

The weather is CRAZY here.. and with no heat upstairs right now, it's COLD at home too.... VERY COLD....

There was more snow falling in WA today ....  caused a lot of issues with traffic... there were crashes, pile ups, roads closed because the conditions were horrible, majorly icey roads, and morons that don't know how to drive in it.

This isn't WI .... the whole area shuts down for an inch or two... why?  Well, they aren't use to snow here... icey roads cause major problems w/ all the water and hills here... and they don't salt/sand/clear roads here like in WI.

My Mom lost power at her place tonight... Dennis said that there was a transformer that blew in Silverdale, looked like an atomic bomb went off...  66,000 Puget Sound Energy costumers lost their electricity ...  my Mom, Step-Dad & Ash being one of the places.  Eeks...  Luckily we still have ours.  Schools have already been canceled for tomorrow too...

Here is the progression of snow here during the day ......
8:30 am

At 11:30

At 2pm
Me....  or as Nay-Nay keeps saying "Momma, Momma, Momma" lol

At 3:30 pm

 Calahan, Kenzie & Ami
 More Snow Pics.....

At 5pm
As you can see, we didn't get a lot of snow........ but it sure did cause a lot of issues.....

Here is Nathan, mad, cuz he wants to go outside but it's to cold... the winds were really bad too...

And by 6pm this is what the roads looked like........ COMPLETE ice!!
