Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone in the Bloggoshere ... I hope everyone had an amazing holiday with lots of food, company (Family & Friends) .... laughter...... and happiness. I know that we all try to remember what we are thankful for year round but today just seems to be the day to really deeply reflect on what you are thankful for!!
So for this Thanks Giving Season....
I Give Thanks.....
For my Family .... My immediate family - Dennis and the boys... I am thankful for them all. I have the most amazing husband, and even though he's not perfect (who is?) he is absolutely perfect for me. For my kids, Calahan who taught me how to be a Mom. He's my trial run for just about everything... if it doesn't work with him, try something different with the rest (lol) ... For Noah, who I fought through 5 years of deep dark infertility for, five miscarriages between Cal's twin and the four between Cal & Noah... it wasn't an easy road. Even though I was told he wouldn't live to see the world out of utero, he did and he thrived, and for that, I am extremely thankful every day! For Nathan, the first baby between Dennis and I and my second unique miracle. He reminds us every day to smile and to believe that no matter how hard things get, there is always reasons to smile and laugh. And for my little Mini-Me Kaedyn... he has the ability to make my heart melt, sore and break with just particular looks he gives me. He has got the best smile in the world. I am thankful, as is Dennis, for the Princess who isn't with us. We think about her everyday and we wish the situations were different, but we can't change things..... yet. She is loved, and she is part of our family, regardless of where she is.

I am thankful for my Mom, who is amazing in every way. She has been my best friend and my Mom. I can talk to her about just about anything. I am thankful for the rest of my family.... without them, I wouldn't be who I am. I love them all :)
My Friends - they are an amazing bunch. My four Besties ... Jenna, Cathy, Sarah & Ami... I love you girls like sisters!! You each have, at times, reached out and held me up while I've been crumbling, as I hope I've done for them. The bonds with these four women that I have, are a lot stronger and deeper then just "friendship" ... As for the rest of my friends, I love all of you too. You know who you are!! If I call you my friend, I mean it. Even my bloggy friends, a lot of you are just absolutely AMAZING women (and men) and I am lucky to get peeks into your lives through your blogs, with the births and growth of your children, through dating and marriages, through infertility struggles and triumphs.
Health - I am extremely thankful for the health of my kids. Yes, we may have struggles, we may have hurdles, and it may feel like we get new diagnoses every time we turn around with Nathan but things could be worse, and over all him and Noah are relatively healthy and they are both strong fighters or they wouldn't be here. I am thankful that Calahan and Kaedyn are healthy and the little glitches in their lives health wise have been overcome or easily solved for the most part. I am thankful that Dennis is a little better here and his migraines haven't been so bad and his other health issues haven't been at such a forefront with him. I am thankful that, even though I am going through a relapse, that I can still fight through it and function normally.
Comfort - I am thankful for the roof over our heads, the warmth that we have ... the food we manage to provide, the running water, the hot showers, the warm blankets, comfortable beds and furniture... for washer and dryer...... for the internet, for TV and movies, for books, for blogs...... for cameras and all the other things that I enjoy and use on a daily basis that comfort me and make me feel at "home" and give me an outlet for my creativity or my escape. I am thankful for the car we have, it doesn't fit our whole family, but we manage for now.
I am thankful for much more, but I am tired, and my comfortable bed and soft blankets are calling. I hit most the important things. I hope that you did take a minute to reflect on what you are Thankful for today, and if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving because you don't live in the States... I hope that you took a moment of reflection just because of the abundance of "Thankful" posts you've seen today! Teehee....
