Happy Turkey Day.... Oh Christmas Tree...

HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

I started writing again, and this morning was in a bad spot in the book, and it just made me crabbier then hell - and of course Dennis just had to do a couple little stupid things that blew up into a major annoyance. So anyway - I finished that hard scene anyway... and I'm feeling a little bit better.

GAWD it's amazing how much it takes out of you to write (and I don't mean blog either)...

Anyway... I'm writing again - whooooohooooooo :)

So Dennis cooked... and it was very very good :) Beyond filling... The baby tried some potatoes and gravy, and come cream corn (at least the cream of it)...

Then we cleaned up a bit, got Nathan fed and layed down, and started moving stuff around the living room to get the tree up.

Tradition since I was little - the tree goes up on Thanksgiving night... and then we decorate...

The magical post office for Santa is up....
Nathan's exersaucer was NOT a hit, so we returned it, and got the rainforest one that he had tried out and loved at Walmart.... sure enough, he LOVES it... course he just got shots yesterday (poor baby) and the other two boys got their flu shots (remind me NOT to tell you that story, I might get a headache remembering!) ... anyway - so Daddy got it together yesterday (Thanks Nanny!) and he loooooooooves it!!

Tradition I started for Calahan's first Christmas... see... he had all these gifts, and he was just a lil boy... so I got the bright idea that each week he could open something... that would give him a chance to enjoy those smaller gifts that are over shadowed by the bigger gifts - and then I started thinking... well... if I start that... then it might keep him out of the gifts as he grows up. So it's become a tradition... the kids get a gift a week, starting Thanksgiving night... each Thursday night between then and Christmas, they get to open a gift. So far, it's worked.
This year we're not just doing small gifts... we're doing a DVD a week, along with a book for each of them... here are pics from tonights scores...
Noah of course wanted them read right away...

Calahan ... wasn't impressed.......
Here is Nathan - saying ... "What do I do with this?"
"OOOOOOOOOOOOH I eat it!!!!"
(He opened it... the book is actually below a bit)... but here is the other gift...

Noah got to show it off... he was excited!! Calahan thought it was going to be Transformers.. lol..
Wrapping Paper is the best TOY!! Screw the other stuff....

Nathan's book...

And then we watched Santa Clause 3! :)
Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!!

How do I calm thee....

Nathan was mighty unhappy the other day... this is the only way he would calm down...

Dumb Luck!!

Let It Snow

This is our second decent snow fall, of course it didn't last... but it's awful perdy!!!

Nathan and Noah.... Playdate ... eh... yeah..

They are about 2 weeks difference in age ... Noah has 10 + lbs on him! LOL... They don't know what to think of each other... they sat and starred at each other for a little while... Noah tried to eat Nathan's head today... Noah was sitting between my feet and Nathan between my legs earlier - and I was letting them at each other - cuz, well - they have to get use to each other a bit.. LOL... and Noah decided it would be fun to push Noah's head down and eat him! LOL... but Nathan didn't like that idea much, apparently it wasn't what he had in mind... and he started to wail... LOL... it wasn't the only time they tried to eat each other! Or the first time they made each other cry... or the last.... Nathan got jealous this other kid had his mommy's attention ... Noah got mad I wasn't focused on him... but it was fun :) They are both rather easy going babies and seem to adjust immediately to the same schedule.. eating and sleeping at the same time, other then an extra nap Nathan while I played with tired Noah who wanted to nap... lol...

Dinner Time.........

Nathan is starting to regularly eat dinner with us now... and he's having trouble eating anything with any sort of texture... so we broke out the ol' nuk brush tonight and he just LOVED eatting with it... he ate a whole thing of 1st food bananas and about an 1/8 a cup of potatoes... He had a full belly ... heehee...

Noah eating dinner... LOL.. not the most attractive picture! ROFLMBO...
Calahan too .... he had a little accident Saturday morning... he was sitting on the futon with his sweatshirt around his knees... and somehow... fell forward... so his face hit the floor... ouch!! He is going on a field trip to the science muesum tomorrow!!

A couple fun pictures...

Trying out the exersaucer that mommy brought home (Thanks Nanny!) ... he really didn't seem impressed with it - I think I might take it back and get the one we wanted in the first place...

Mommy getting ready for a photography session... (ignore the wild hair)
There are some new pics of Nathan in the photography portfolio...

Wedding Photos ... & Note...

The wedding photos is in my other blog... http://moonnstarmemories.blogspot.com/ ... there are about 100 all together up, Dennis and I took over 800 ... they didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, the lighting was HORRIBLE and there wasn't a good place to take posed pictures... but I think we did okay for what we had to work with.... guess it's all about what the Bride and Groom thing.. I know I got at least some really good shots...

I wanted to apoligize for not being able to note everyone right now - I'm still trying to unpack and take care of Nathan and keep the house clean - none of it seems to be working real well! LOL... so I can't exactly justify sitting on my butt and catching up on blogs until I get this house in order, some what.....

So I do apoligize, and I promise I'll get back to it soon!!
Here are a couple .... from yesterday! I have another photo shoot today and one on Wednesday too...
