Happy Valentines Day!

We have been celebrating - mostly a bit early.   But this morning, I got breakfast in bed!  Thank you honey!!

My REAL Valentine this year! LOL...  no really - they are all my Valentines!

Couple days ago, we ended up going to see a movie at the THEATER (gasp) ... last time I went, it was for my birthday - going to see Pitch Perfect 2 ... which we got into for free.  Not so lucky this time! LOL... but the movie was AMAZING!!!

Now, if you haven't seen the movie (SHAME ON YOU) and if you haven't seen the previews....  I guess that there is a whole movement going on where guys are messaging their girlfriends the following graphic ...

We went to the store, grocery store, and I had to stop.... I thought these Bonsai Trees looked like Mandrake Root from Harry Potter ....

Then I saw this........... a MONEY TREE!!!   They DO EXIST!

DB got these ....  it's a Diabetic Coma inducer ..... but I still had one.  BUT OMGosh - you bite into it and all the cream shoots out the other side.

So I threw some cardboard outside - thinking that the bone head child who takes care of garbage and recycling would pick it up and put it in the recycling.  But nope.  So I was standing on the porch... and this is what I saw.

Someone is just wayyyyyy too happy at 4:30 in the morning.  NO....  not even joking.  I was still awake, couldn't sleep - so Kale brought this butter-ball into me... LOL...

"Hey, you got chocolate?"

She didn't really like that whole conversation I had with her about how she shouldn't be up at such a crazy hour.  She wasn't impressed....

Sadly ...  Kale's grandpa lost his battle with cancer this afternoon :(  

Kale's Grandpa lost his battle with cancer today. My heart breaks for the family, and for Kale. I remember being in the hospital when Elly was born, he came into the room for just a few moments. We found out later he had just learned his cancer was back. That was 6 months ago. Only 6 months ago. I was happy to hear that he had the chance to go home (yesterday) and that he was kept comfortable. He passed away in his wife's arms, there could be no better way to go. My heart breaks for their loss. Maybe there is some relief that he no longer is suffering. I hope and pray that he is holding up his loved ones in their grief right now, as they have held him up the past few months. R.I.P. Leo. You were very very loved.
