August 22 ~ Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium

So on the last day of going out and about, we went to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.   This is one of the most favorite places the kids go to...  especially Nathan.  He LOOOOOOOOOVES it.   Noah decided to stay home, he wasn't feeling well and didn't want to walk.  Noah's legs hurt a lot while walking.

So our zoo puts on a show about how kids need to get outside. It’s a cute message. The “evil” scientist type person is DR. Do Nothing - she has a mind ray that makes everyone want to go inside and play on computers and watch tv and be lazy, the super heroes, Captain Adventure and Wonder Dog along with the audience who repeat the message “THINK OUTSIDE” … they have to find four items (binoculars, water bottle, snack, and sunscreen) with the help of animal friends to help combat the evil doctor … in the end they blow up the mind ray and the evil doctor thanks them and is excited to be outside.
