JULY 21st : Your Favorite Story & Your Summer Playlist...

YOUR FAVORITE STORY ......

I saw this prompt and I thought .... well.....  that's pretty easy.  My favorite story is OUR love story ...

Well ... not OURS but OURS ...

I don't think many people can say .... that they fell in love without meeting the person they fell in love with .... face to face.

I honestly don't even understand how it happened.  I mean ...  I know how it happened, I was kinda there ...  but I don't know how it happened and WORKED to the point where we're together 12 years later .....

So  there was this guy, and he winked at this girl, which got her to talk to him.... all this was done online, where people Catfish and lie about who they are because of their insecurities and want to just be loved or even liked for who they are .... but sometimes, the packaging of the story doesn't always show the beauty that is inside...

I vowed ... way back when ...  that I wouldn't pretty up the packaging, because I really really wanted to be accepted for who I was ...  at the time .... who I am now... but I'm not that same person I was 12 years ago ...

Anyway .... We talked non-stop.  The only time we stopped talking was when we were sleeping, or if one of us was busy in a way we couldn't talk...  but we really really talked non-stop.  I was very honest, about who I was ...  from my angry pre-teen, my four year old that I was told wouldn't even be born alive much less turn four ...  and how I had to live by the motto of anything could happen at any time because we didn't know which organs were effected by his Trisomy.  Even how I have CFS/Fibro and I have medical issues that are hard for me to deal with.

He wasn't AS honest .... but he was pretty honest also....  and of course the things he chose not to tell me about were things that he didn't want to tell me due to not wanting to scare me away ...  and this has caused issues in our marriage, but I'm not one to give up.

Regardless .... he asked me to marry him, three days into our talking ...  he said to me, "Will you marry me?  For real, not joking.  I just want something good to happen on my birthday."  and I swear my heart lept and broke all at the same time...

He had already - jokingly - asked me to marry him, about 24 hours into our talking ... he had emailed me and I was video chatting with him when I opened it and bust out laughing ...  I had told him how other guys were proposing to me and I found it creepy because I didn't feel I knew them.  So he emailed me and said "will you marry me" and I just bust out laughing ...

But then a couple days later - in his heartbreak of having ... yet again ... another crappy birthday - he asked me to marry him ...

..... I felt the same way, I didn't want to say yes ... I wanted a REAL proposal (which I never got) ... but I did say .... "That seems to be where we are heading..."  but I reserved the right to change my mind once we met face to face ...

We continued to talk as much as humanly possible.  It was actually pretty amazing because we really got to know each other - we weren't distracted by the physical aspects of a relationship - it was 20 questions, talking ... all the time.

Then when we met it was like two shooting stars exploded ... it was cosmic ... twelve years later, I think it's still pretty cosmic ...

Twelve years ... we've been through a lot.  Dealing with EXs and their insecurities & jealousy about us moving on...  DB's own issues with feeling like everyone in his life has left him or not been there for him when he needed someone ...  and the fact that seven years into our marriage, he was still expecting me to tell him to get out - or for me to completely check out ... but that didn't happen.  Sadly he had to work all that out with in himself and it took almost a year for our lives to get back on some sort of resemblance of the track we were on previously ...  It was not my favorite year, for sure...but the outcome... we actually came out on the other side of that year - much much stronger and happier.  It was stuff that needed to be worked on, we needed to be reminded of why we fell in love .. and we were about to go through very scary things with our son about a year later during two different hospital stays ... one were he had Scarlet Fever and one where he was in kidney failure and severe septic shock ...  he's a fighter though, he pulled through...  I'll never forget it ... ICU, 2 IV sites and a PICC line... everything else... nurses crying because they thought he wasn't going to pull through ...  that kind of stuff either brings two parents closer together or pushes them apart ...

The thing is ....  the way we met, the quick falling, the broken slow button ...  we shouldn't have worked ...  the epic collision of our souls probably should have imploded instead of merging into the love story that we have.

He winked at me on June 3rd ...
I winked back and then messaged him on the 4th ...
We exchanged instant messenger handles and started chatting ...
June 5th we both kind of mutually took ourselves off the "market" ... we both wanted to see where this went, exclusively, with each other ... that was June 5th!
June 6th he jokingly asked me to marry him
June 8th (his birthday) he asked me to marry him for real ...
June 22nd I arrived in North Carolina and we had a the movie made first kiss ...
early July we packed up his stuff, rented a car, and drove from North Carolina to Wisconsin ...
We spent July together - I was showing him all the neat little places around my hometown...
August 1st I flew out to Washington because my mom and taken my kids home with her (to Washington) after my cousin's wedding and I went out there to spend time with my mom and my kids and to give me a break and so I flew out to bring them home, but I was staying there for two weeks.
August 15th we flew back into Wisconsin and the boys met DB for the first time... .
August 31st I found out I was pregnant (with Nathan) ...
December 13th we got married when I was 18 weeks pregnant ...

All that happened in a 6 month period....

If it were one of my kids, I'd be throwing up the red flags ..... It's CRAZY to even think about!!

YOUR SUMMER PLAYLIST .....

Ok ....... I'm 42 ....  I don't have a particular "playlist" ....

BUT ..... I will share some of my current favorite music ...

Before I do, though, I want to say that ... music is AMAZING ... it has helped me a lot.  If I'm feeling sluggish and like I'm going to fall asleep during the day (which I try not to do, because I want to sleep at night - it might never happen but I try) ... if I am feeling sluggish or falling asleep - I turn on some music and put my headphones in and wham-bam ... I wake up and YAY!!!

It also is very healing, music touches my soul.  I'm not someone how listens but tunes it out ... what is the point of that.  I'm also not one of those people who drive around with the base vibrating the cars a mile away because I've got huge speakers and an amplifier in there ... I actually wish I could break some of those speaker systems because it's almost an instant migraine.

Also when you are down and blue ...  there is nothing better than music....

So here is some of my favorite music right now

Okay - first and foremost ANYTHING from Pitch Perfect ... I adore the movies, I adore Anna Kendrick...  I could watch that those movies all day long ... well, except the puke scene.... yeah I don't ever need to see that again ... thank goodness for 30 second skips!  (I WISH I COULD DO THIS!)

I haven't met an Ed Sheeran song I don't like ... most I adore ...  like Katy Perry, I just could listen to him all day ... ALL.DAY.LONG ....

Of course, this one I think of DB ...  besides my kids, he is my everything...

This song - I heard on a show and I fell for the haunting melody. Also had to send it to my sister-in-law because it speaks to what she's going through right now.

A cappella is amazing and I have loved it for a long time. So like I wrote before ... I wish I could do this .... I really do ... NOT for fame, just because I would love to be able to sing like this because this is a gift, this isn't something you can train yourself to do ...  I fully believe that someone is born with a gift like this, it can't be trained for ... you got it or you don't ...

This is my absolute favorite A cappella song, of course - Pitch Perfect ... LOL ...

DB and I recently discovered Bebe Rexha (when I say recently, I mean a few months ago) ... adore her ... here are a few of our favorites...

This song she does with G-Easy (who da fuk is that?) ... this is a rap and she does the chorus and I love it...

This one she does with Florida Georgia Line ... if you listen to country I'm sure you've heard it ...

THE WORST EAR WORM EEEEEEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR but it's a good song, which is why it's an major ear worm ...

but have you seen this commercial that's been on TV ........ CRACKS ME UP!!!

I love how it makes fun of the fact that Havanna is such an ear worm ... LOLOLOLOL ..

Now the next song....

When I first heard this song ... I BAWLED ... seriously - bawled ... I had to look up to see if Ed lost his mom, good news - he didn't... but this song he wrote right after his Gran died ... I suspect he wrote it for his mom, from her point of view ...

In an interview with Zane Lowe, Ed explained, “That’s the most special song on the record for me. My grandmother was very ill during the time I was making the record and passed away at the end of me making the record, so we wrote this song as a tribute and just left it on.”

Ed revealed that he wasn't initially going to include the song on 'Divide', but his grandfather encouraged him to do so. "My grandfather just turned to me [at the funeral], he was like you have to put that out, that has to go on the record. It’s such a good memory, that’s why it’s ended up on there.”
“[It was] Really hard to write, yeah. Very easy at the same time in terms of its flow. Because there was no trying to think of poignant lines and being like you know death is this or like life is this. It was just so spot on and the lyric of ‘you are an angel in the shape of my mom’, that could end up in a poignant line but it was the truth.”

This song - I adore.... and let me tell you why. When I was younger - I knew I was CERTAIN I was Irish ... even before I knew that I was really Irish, I was telling everyone that I was Irish. The way I thought was Irish wasn't totally there, but my Grandmother is full Irish ... (my Dad's mom) ... SO ... I just had a gut instinct and I just KNEW I was Irish ... well I found the links when I started to do the genealogy of myself... and my large consintration of Irish is from the Mayo/Galway area... I mean I haven't met a Ed Sheeran song I don't like.... part of me feels I have to like him on principal ... he's Irish, I'm Irish ... and then I look him up and find out he's from Halifax, England ... and then I'm all.... wtf ... LOL.... AND AND AND he was born in 1991 ... Cal is 5 years younger than he is... it's like, WOW ...

This song is from Hunger Games... and I love it, I do ... I don't think I will never not love it... LOL...

I adore this song... mainly because when my husband sings it... and he nails it ... it turns me on ... LOL... but whenever he nails a song, it turns me on.. but I just love the song .. LOL...

This one literally SLAYS me ... I think I cry every damn time I watch the video ...

So when I saw this preview .... I was instantly bawling, I mean the PREVIEW made me cry. It is one of my favorite movies before it even came out! I can relate. DB can relate because a couple years ago he was in a wheel chair... We didn't know if he'd ever walk again ... and it hurt - we're several years out and that time in our lives still kinda hurts because of all the unknown we were facing.  Now, when I say it still hurts, I'm not saying we're dwelling on it - not at all - however, when we see this movie (DB can't watch it, it triggers him too much) ... it takes us back to that time...  it's just hard remembering... makes my heart sink.

BUT ...... I adore the movie, I really do.  I love love love love love it.  And I was fangirl'ing about the cast ...... like HOLY FUCK.....

Emilia Clarke plays Louisa Clark .... of course Emilia is also Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones

Jenna Coleman plays Katrina "Treena" Clark ....  she was also Clara Oswald in Doctor Who...

Brendan Coyle plays Bernard Clark....  he's also Mr. Bates on Downton Abbey ...

AND .... if you watch the movie, you noticed him .... buy you may not have realized.....

Matthew Lewis plays Patrick ...  do you recognize him???  I bet you don't ....  THAT is Neville Longbottom <--- YES you read that right.....  NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM from Harry Potter...  did you drop dead for shock yet?

I just love that song....

This one I absolutely love .... this is DB and I ... THIS is everything we are... everything we will be... I need to stop or I'll keep going ...

I gotta stop or I'll keep going and going and going and going ... so I will stop, right here....

July 12th : Grateful & A Song From Your Childhood

GRATEFUL

It is good to reflect on all those things that you are grateful and thankful for ... it's not just for Thanksgiving ... LOL ...

Every day, at least once a day - I look at one of my kids and I think, in that moment, looking at that child, how THANKFUL I am ... I couldn't see my life without them, and I don't know how they weren't always in my life...

Of course if it's Noah or Nathan I think of how lucky, honored, and amazed they are mine.  How lucky I am that they are still with us... every day...  every damn day .... <3

I have a GRATEFUL heart ...
* My Family & Friends
* A roof over our heads
* Food on our table to fill our bellies
* Our pets
* The talents I have been blessed with
* That I wake up every morning, pain or not - I'm alive and I'm thankful for that
* I am thankful for my books <3
* I am thankful for all the moving picture entertainment I enjoy
* I am thankful for the music that moves me beyond words...
* I am grateful for the moments I have captured in time that I can use to reflect and reminisce
* I am thankful for every day, every breath... pain or no pain, I appreciate waking up every day..

A SONG FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD

This is the first "adult" song I ever learned the words to.  LOL...   I mean, it's funny now but might have been slightly horrifying for my Mother....

This was my first FAVORITE song I think...

This was another one ...

My husband would probably be really shocked... LOL...

But these are the first three songs that I remember learning the words to and the first three song I remember being "favorites" ....

Of course - Annie was the first musical I learned the words to and could basically recite.

Yes ... the Obsession is REAL

Okay .... so ...  anyone who knows me "in real life" .... (trust me this blog is pretty real, and you can really get to know me from it...  and yet have never met!) ...

Anyway ....... anyone who knows me well could tell you who my favorite Disney Princess is.

Now, some might be slightly confused because my FIRST favorite Disney Princess was Ariel..

Now, I have a weak spot for the red-heads because I am and always will be a red-head at heart.  I feel jipped that my Irish heritage failed me with the red hair and green eyes.  So anyway - Arial came along in 1989 and I was in love.  Everything about her.  The biggest thing was that she just wanted to be who she was meant to be, and her desire of learning about anything and everything.  She wasn't afraid to step up and out and do something that was not expected.  Plus I thought Prince Eric was dreamy! LOL.  The scene in the pond where Sebastian sings "Kiss the Girl" was my favorite part....

She was hands down my favorite until she was beat over the head by Belle, and Belle was me in a story book.  She came into my life like a grenade in 1991 and I was head over heels, the rug ripped out from under me.  It was like watching me on the screen.  I was amazed.  So I have always been a Disney Princess girl, always just been a fan - even before "Disney Princess" was a term.  So when the live action Cinderella came out, I was THRILLED (and I loved it) ... but when I heard that Beauty and the Beast was getting live action, I cried. Literally when I learned it was true... I cried.  Every preview I see, I cry.  I'm not even kidding.

Belle holds a special spot for Heather & I too ...  <3  So if it's STILL out when she comes out in June for our birthday's ... we're going to go see it again... WOOHOO...  she wanted me to wait but I just can't.  I can't wait.

Anyway - sharing all this because it's my blog and I'm a massive Fangirl.... lol...

And the fact that Dan Stevens is playing my husband....  YES!!!!!!!!!!!

Er.... I mean the Beast....  have you MET my husband?  He IS the beast!!!

I am STILL waiting for the library though .... because he better give me a library ...

Clearly I love Dan because I am a huge huge huge Downton fan.  So the fact that he was playing Beast - I couldn't have been happier.  I was over the moon when I saw that Emma was going to play Belle...  there were rumors but when you find out the rumors are true.... HELL YEAH!!  oh and

There is going to be a live action The Little Mermaid released sometime this year. I am excited. I thought it might be a rumor, but it is true, and has been confirmed.   Chloe Grace Moretz is going to be our Ariel ...

You might have seen Chloe play ....  the very young Chelsea Lutz in The Amityville Horror  ... she has been in a lot of Disney stuff, she was the voice of Darby (the new Christopher Robin) of the newer Winnie the Pooh cartoons (which I thought was super cute!) ... she was in Kick-Ass as Mindy Macready / Hit-Girl ... She was Carrie in the new version of Carrie.  I haven't seen this one before (I'm kinda a classic girl in most cases, so I hadn't watched ... but now I want to.) ...  She was Cassie Sullivan in The 5th Wave (which was a pretty good movie!!) and she was a Bubble Baby on Bubble Guppies named "Darby" which I thought was funny cuz of her Pooh Bear connections.  She was also in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising playing Shelby.  Anyway ...  Little Mermaid is not on her IMDB yet.  Boo.

SUPERNATURAL UPDATE ....  I have now watched Season One......

12 "Faith"
13 "Route 666"
14 "Nightmare"
15 "The Benders"

Today I have just been too busy being freaking sick.

Jaxson and Marshmellow were a little big close today .........  careful, the world might end, it's a sign.

This happened.  My husband posted this.

From NOT to REALLY Pregnant in 2.2 Seconds!

One of my favorite things to throw up as FB statuses is the weird things DB says in his sleep.  Or Kaedyn.  They both say the most amazing things in their sleep.

(In his sleep) DB: grumble grumble mumble pay for grumble mumble
Me: pay for what?
DB: grumblemumblegrmblestutterestripsoverhiswords grandfathered in the contract mumblegrumble stop paying for their services mumblemumble
*falls into the deep music of his people.... snores*
Clearly he's talking about Comcast
(No I don't actually have any idea)

Soooooooooo ........ Eight confirmed deaths in Kitsap County ... all over the age of 60, seven of which got the flu vaccine. It's scary this year. Thankful Noah and Nathan haven't gotten it even though Dennis and I have. Holding out hope this continues.....for Noah and Nathan.... At this point, though - there are 114 confirmed deaths in Washington State .... It really scares me.

I don't get the shot, I refuse. Every time I have, I get sick. (Yes I know it doesn't have the live virus and therefore "can't make you sick" but every time I get it, I get sick within 24 hours.) Dennis got the flu shot this year (only one in the family) and is the only one who got the flu really bad. He brought it home (he's in college) and he got it bad (still fighting it)! I got a milder form (which I am still fighting). I think Nathan has a touch of it and he is the one I am most worried about getting it because of of his fragile immune system. We have had 8 deaths in our county from the flu (all above age 60) and out of the 8.... 7 got the vaccine. The odds are not in anyone's favor. And when we went in the ER cuz my husband was in bad shape the nurse doing his administration vitals said *oh you don't have the flu (because he got the shot) because the vaccine has been doing a wonderful job this year protecting against it!"

Anyway ....

I saw this on Facebook videos ....  so I wrote the following ...

Having a label of any sort "mental illness" can instantly change someone's perception about that person. Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar... ADHD/ADD, ODD, Autism, OCD, PTSD.... the person doesn't change because of a label, so don't let it change your perception...
I know someone, multiple people, with each of that listed and more.... including 7 of them being my own children. It doesn't make me love them less.
Just realize there are beautiful people out there... who have strong messages.... maybe you should listen...
Thank you Neil Hilborn for sharing

I just enjoyed the poem ....  and I thought it was a very good message of acceptance and tolerance ...  My family has all of those that I have listed except the Bipolar which DB was misdiagnosed with in the military.  So yes ..  just wanted to share.

I managed to squeeze in one episode of Supernatural today ....   so I watched ....

6 "Skin"

Which was interesting .... Dean gets dead... not okay ...

Been making it a point to get up, get dressed, etc and so on....  and do my hair.  So ...  today was a good hair day ... LOL ....

The boys are having a lazy day.  Nathan's not feeling real well.  He's complaining about his belly hurting a lot.

Kaedyn and I played this.  It's a game like "Guess Who" which we play a lot, but it's the Monsters INC version ....

The things this child finds to do when he is bored....

He's like a sour patch kid.  First he's so naughty and then he breaks out one of these faces.... and I melt.  Dammit....

I ended up having a discussion with Kaedyn today about miscarriages and fertility drugs.   He said something about wanting me to have another baby, because he wants "another" baby girl.  He is missing Elly a lot now that they moved out - and they aren't real close by (couple hours away) ...  but we video chat a lot, it's not the same though.  Elly and Bubba have this undeniable and unmistakable bond.

So I was trying to explain to him how I am done having babies.  I mean, first, I am going on 41 and at one point in time I had said I wanted to be done having babies by the time I was 30.  I wanted to be a young Mom, young Grandma, I wanted to enjoy my kids and all of that...

And then I was met with fertility problems.  I got pregnant and had my first miscarriage at the age of 18.  I found out a few weeks later I was STILL pregnant and what I had experienced was the miscarriage of a twin.  Now, just a side note....  I got called a liar I don't know how many times by a group of people over my saying that I physically miscarriaged a twin, saying that couldn't be done and that twins are absorbed, etc and so on.  YES, they can be reabsorbed, however they can also (if they are fraternal twins) be physically miscarried like any other miscarriage also.  But I was a liar.  You can call me a liar all you want, but here is the thing - my story won't change because that's what happened.  (rolling eyes) ...

My pregnancy with Cal was rough, but after he was born, I knew I wanted to have another baby right away.  So ... we had immediately started to try for baby number two.  Five years later, four more miscarriages (besides Cal's twin)... and I finally got pregnant with Noah after starting fertility drugs.  Noah was born... I immediately had a miscarriage - almost making it into my second trimester - and found out I had a Dermoid Cyst.  Four more miscarriages.  (So at this point it's a total of ten in my first marriage) ... I had a miscarriage with my first boyfriend after my marriage.  And then I have had 5 miscarriages with DB.   So that's 16 miscarriages total.  I told Kaedyn the run down.  I said Cal was a twin, I lost his twin - and I had him, I had four more miscarriages. I went on fertility drugs and got pregnant with Noah, had five more miscarriages with Cal & Noah's biological dad.  I had a miscarriage with my ex boyfriend.  I had a miscarriage with Daddy, and we had Nathan, then had a miscarriage on our one year wedding anniversary and went back on the fertility drugs, and two weeks after the miscarriage I had gotten pregnant with Kaedyn.  Then three more miscarriages after Bubba was born.

I had to explain how a miscarriage is when a Mommy gets pregnant but the baby stops growing and dies, but you can pass the baby out of the body normally and not have to go into labor to have the baby.

I had to explain how fertility drugs are various types of drugs that help a Mommy get and stay pregnant when they have a very hard time either getting pregnant or staying pregnant.  I told him Mommy didn't have a problem getting pregnant but I did have a problem staying pregnant.  So I had to go on pills to help Mommy get pregnant with Noah and him ... and I had to go on drugs to stay pregnant with both Nathan and him.

Meanwhile in Livvy land.....  sitting in a box is cool.  Sitting in a box with game pieces is a million times better.

Marshmellow and the dog got close again today.... the look on Mellow's face says it all.

Go figure ... it looks like rain in Washington State.....

Meanwhile in Livvy land.....  she really likes this box.

Kaedyn is watching for Daddy ... lol...

And then this happened.  He disappeared downstairs, comes up with some hot chocolate.  Disappears downstairs again and then ....... comes up with this.   I am just taking pictures.... as he does his thing.   I mean it made me laugh so much - it's typical kid stuff....  but ....  ROFLMBO ... he got in trouble.  Not a lot of trouble.  Just a little.

And here he is CRYING (this is Bubba) ...  Kaedyn is crying because he snooped for the candy and found it so I took it away....so I told him we were going to do a video of him telling me how he didn't snoop and how he actually deserved candy for listening to what Momma said...... and he fell on the floor and started crying....

Do I look like I'm effected by his fits?  Nope.  Cuz I'm not.   It's amusing ....  I tell the kids all the time that if they hate me, I'm clearly doing my job right!

It might not look it - but I cleaned off and re-arranged this whole thing, re-organized it ....  and Mr. Nathan...

Oh and by the way, I'm pregnant!!  YEP!  WIth a baby full of BLOAT.   With the Pancreatitis ...  this is what happens.  I get sick to my stomach (feeling it, not necessarily throwing up) and I bloat up and look several months pregnant.   Needless to say after some (okay I really wanted to cry) time... it went down and I felt better.  But either I get pain, nausea, or bloating after eating - or a combination of them...

Another day of Jaxson not wanting to leave my side.  He's such a good doggy though.  I lubs him!

DB thought it would be a GREAT night to make homemade (from scratch) Brownies.  Normally I'd be all for this... but tonight I am feeling exceptionally awful.  But he brought me up some, I ate it.  It was alright ... looked a lot better than it went down but I think that was more my not feeling well ...

As if Jaxson being up my behind wasn't enough - once he was kicked out of the room for the night, Livvy crawled up by me and laid down on my lap.  She stayed there too, until Kaedyn snatched her.

Kaedyn is in stage three cling tonight too.  I know they worry about me.  They worry about me more than I do.

I honestly just want to catch up.  I'm 6 blogs behind at this point ... and it's just hard because I get sick, and I don't blog and I get behind - but I don't want to give up on my daily blogging.  So ...  I'm keeping at it.  But I want to publish them in order - so if the day before isn't finished when I finish today's blog, I don't publish today's blog.

Watching Always & Forever about two people seeing each other again at their highschool reunion and reconnecting ....  They also end up working together....

Liv just laid like this .... kept right on laying there like that....

Anyway - so I watched LOVE LOCKS too ...

Love Locks ...  the movement has been on my radar for years.   SO of course I had to watch the Hallmark Movie sharing the name which premiered tonight ...

In the movie - part of the plot was how Paris was "cutting off the locks" on the famous bridge.  I guess there is (was) more than one location for a "Love Locks" bridge in Paris, and they had removed them all.  As I was looking for some photos (Google is my friend - since I've never BEEN to Paris) .. I found articles talking about how this is in fact a true.  Paris DID remove them.  Here is an ARTICLE about it.

I can kind of understand why the city of Paris did it.  BUT ... the locks weigh A LOT and were actually damaging the bridge.  The ironwork was bending and coming apart from the bridge because of the weight.  No one could see the water through the lovely ironwork either - considering it was completely blocked up with the locks.

On the other hand, every one of those locks represent a story.  Didn't matter if the couple made it for the "long haul" or if they broke up .... it was still their story.  I have always told DB that this is something I really really would love to do ... I would have to make sure that we got lots of photos of it, just in case the same fate was had to our lock.... but it's still something I would love to do for our anniversary sometime.  Part of the amazing draw to doing the lock on the bridge is if you make it ... coming back and seeing it, showing your kids, grandkids, generations down the road - where part of that story was.  It's like carving your initials into a tree, or putting your name in wet cement.

So really, it's like Paris is ripping a lot of stories away from a place they were.  You would think that the city would find SOME way to respect the locks, and the stories.

Here is a little snippet of the article above.

Incase you missed the link above to the article...  here it is again .... >>>ARTICLE<<<

Other's have been making art ....

There are more than 10 Love Locks locations in the world.  (Article to the Top 10) I know there is MORE because there is at least one in Seattle.

Here is a photo I took September 3, 2016 when Heather and I had gone over to Seattle.

So my sleeping schedule today was pretty nuts....
I was up until after 4am...got up at 8:30 AM - and was up all day... I fell asleep at 8:30 (ish) PM woke up at 10:30 (ish) PM and haven't been able to go back to sleep.  Probably going to be another long night.

Just for fun, because I was talking about it with a friend.... How old do you think I am in each of these pictures... ** Well I don't think anyone is really going to guess - LOL - so I'll just say, the smaller two pictures I was 18 ... the larger one, age 40.

lolol .... It's a curse

I'm telling you - the whole DB getting asked if I'm his daughter, it happens more and more - it's funny (though it's not funny to him)

I literally laugh the whole timeand then we get home or in the van or whatever and he just grumbles about it
