I Got A Lot Done Today...

I got some blogs caught up on, I edited pictures, I did some calendar stuffz ....  I did a lot!! I caught up on some TV and some downloading...  I still have to finish setting up my Etsy shop though ...  but I will get'er'done....

HAPPY MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY .....

In other news .....   Celebrity Big Brother (US edition) started tonight ......  there was a post "confirmed" list (leaked) and then the actual list of house-guests.  I'm going to share both,

  1. Natalie - Eva Marie - WWE ✔
  2. Tom Green
  3. Lolo Jones (Olympics - Female Runner)
  4. Ryan Lochte - if you don't remember who he is - he's a Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer - the one who had the scandal the last Olympic Summer Games (in Rio)
  5. Kato Kaelin (Nicole Simpson's guest house guest when she was murdered)
  6. Tamar Braxton (Toni's sister)
  7. Joey Lawrence
  8. Dina Lohan ✔
  9. Jonathan Bennett ✔   (he hosts like Cake Wars, Cupcake Wars, Food Network stuff, and he was in a few movies back in the day - like Mean Girls)
  10. Kandi Burruss (Atlanta Housewives, I guess she wrote Scrubs for TLC)
  11. Ricky Williams - NFL
  12. Anthony Scaramucci ..... aka the "Mooch" and he worked for Trump in the White House but got fired for swearing

ONLY THREE OF WHICH were on the list.  Personally, I am a little disappointed that Johnny Banana's wasn't on it.  I would have been Team Bananas all the way!   Although - at the moment, I'm kinda Team Lochte  ....  although I am a Joey Lawrence fan (have been for a long long long :::coughBLOSSOMcough::: time....) ....  so who knows... Oh and I really like Natalie's hair!

Other interesting TV coming up or on right now....

SMILEY FACE KILLERS: The Hunt For Justice :  I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!  I have been utterly fascinated with this theory for many many years because several of these boys died in Wisconsin and Minnesota and such, in my area ...  and I always thought it was no coincidence.  I'm kinda obsessed with this.

ESCAPING THE MADHOUSE: The Nellie Bly Story : I'm interested - but haven't watched this yet.  It's going to be interesting.

THE MASKED SINGER :  I thought this show was going to be stupid and suck so bad, but I was curious .... very curious .... and who knew I would love it so much!  It's crazy!!   It's soooooooo good!!

THE LAKE ERIE MURDERS : This is interesting ....  mostly a collection of mysteries taking place on, in, around Lake Erie ...  and I'm a sucker for the Great Lakes because it's where I grew up.

ROBERT DURST: An ID Murder Mystery : Yeah, I need to know more about this psycho for sure!

SISTER WIVES : is returning ...  this season seems like it's going to be very very rocky ....

RUBY HERRING MYSTERIES  : this recorded last night (one of the new series of Mystery Movies on  Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ... I'm looking forward to watching it but I haven't gotten a chance to yet.  ALSO there is another one coming with Lacey Chabert (LOVE!) and her All My Heart co-star Brennan Elliott ...  called The Crossword Mysteries, and I am REALLY REALLY excited for that...

EMMA FIELDING MYSTERIES: More Bitter Than Death :  This was supposed to air on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on January 13th, but then it didn't...  I got a re-run episode (movie) of Hailey Dean....  and I was all like....  WTELF .... (what the ever loving fuck)  now, apparently, it's going to air February 10th ...  just to put it out there...  if you were expecting it the 13th... bad news, it didn't air... good news, we get to wait longer and it's coming ...  but at least it's coming and it's going to air...

July 5th :Favorite Quote & Something that Worries You

FAVORITE QUOTE

I have a few of them....  one of which is my Senior Quote that I used for my yearbook quote, I wrote it ....   When I cam up with it, I instantly knew it was perfect ...  not only did I come up with it, but it really spoke to me.   At 18 you have dreams and a lot of the time reality gets in the way of them...

These quotes from the movie Practical Magic ..... are just a few of my favorites ...

These are just a few that come to mind....

SOMETHING THAT WORRIES YOU

Money - money is always a worry on our mind.  Especially with two kids who have medical issues and those hospital stays you can "prepare" for (I mean gas to get back and forth for my husband, because I won't leave the hospital...  money for food and necessities mostly during those stays) ...  Then there are the out of pocket medical stuff ... and gas back and forth to appointments, and just money ....

Seriously need to win the lotto ....

Janky Box

Did you know that today is International Woman's Day?   No?  Why not!?  Don't you support the feminist movement?  (snickers) ....

About International Women's Day (8 March)

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
International Women's Day (IWD) has been observed since in the early 1900's - a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies. International Women's Day is a collective day of global celebration and a call for gender parity. No one government, NGO, charity, corporation, academic institution, women's network or media hub is solely responsible for International Women's Day. Many organizations declare an annual IWD theme that supports their specific agenda or cause, and some of these are adopted more widely with relevance than others.
"The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights," says world-renowned feminist, journalist and social and political activist Gloria Steinem. Thus International Women's Day is all about unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action - whatever that looks like globally at a local level. But one thing is for sure, International Women's Day has been occurring for well over a century - and continue's to grow from strength to strength.
Just in case you were wondering......

I just wanted to post that picture of Deadpool!

I have had a rough day.  Very very rough.   Fever, stuffed up sinuses/ears ... SEVERE headache (migraine) ... etc and so on.  Basically I have the flu.  Influenza A has been making a comeback it seems.  I have seen several of my friends fall with the plague the last week..

I'm so thankful that Kaedyn is over it ...  but now it's just my turn....  I guess....

So Nathan had a really rough morning. He was crying like he used to cry when his anxiety was picking up too much with the thought of going to school and before he was to the point where he was making himself throw up - because he was being forced to go into the main stream classroom when he shouldn't have been (I was being told he was spending all but two hours or so in the inclusion (special needs) room and then in regular classroom for a couple of subjects. The teacher he had then, he didn't like - he has light up shoes, he stops them when he needs some sensory input and she would tell him to stop doing that - so he would cry. He would say she was mean. When we brought this up to his inclusion room teacher (who is supposed to have his back) she blew it off. So this is why we pulled him out to homeschool him. That's what happened before. Lately he's been showing this same anxiety about going to school again but we haven't really questioned him on it much. Fast forward, today he was carrying on to the point where she was almost to that making himself vomit point. So we managed to get him out the door to the bus and off to school. I guess shortly after getting to school he wanted to talk to the nurse because we tell him he has to at least TRY to go to school. So the nurse ended up calling DB and ended up telling him that with some talking, Nathan is having anxiety about his day at school and that's why he's having stomach aches (this doesn't explain the other stuff going on with his stomach, like his waking up after starting his feed when he's sleeping and throwing up with his feed. That's a separate issue.) So because I caught Kaedyn's plague - DB took the reigns on this and he called Nate's pediatrician and got him in right away today to talk about maybe putting him on some anxiety meds.... so Nate's coming home with Daddy now. He's getting put on a small dose of anxiety meds to see if it helps.

Daddy sent me these pictures while he was out with Nathan...

Nathan being vain in the mirror ....

So I spent a lot of my day sleeping and watching Little Women Atlanta (didn't realize it started again.)  I like the new girls.   Regardless... just been trying to keep the fever at bay and resting.  The sooner this is over - the better.

We were supposed to go to Tacoma today to go to see Nathan & Noah's Endocrinology doc but that had to get rescheduled (thanks flu!) ....

Marshmellow's personality has changes since he got the big ol' snip.  He's more playful and seems a lot calmer ...

Alyvia has literally been stuck up my butt today - probably because of my being sick and her wanting to be comforting.

Best part of today - other than waking up to meet another day and being able to hug and snuggle my family, and laugh .....  the best part of today was getting my new shipment of FANDOM stickers...

So here is the run down......   DB ordered a couple - I added the two Hunter ones for him, all World of Warcraft related....

Cal found out and asked for these ....

The rest though, are ALL MINE.   So this is the group of general "Fangirl" ones and "Book" ones... miscellaneous stuff ...

A couple Game of Thrones ones....  (I am a Stark girl through and through, I love my IMP, but I love Khaleesi) ...  Hodor has my heart forever - I still yell "TOO SOON" whenever DB makes a "Hold the door!" joke.  And he calls me his Moon just like Drogo does Khaleesi...

Gilmore Girls.........

These are Greys Anatomy

Pokemon Go

Harry Potter

FANDOM... Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Harry Potter....  and it's fun picking out all the different ones from the "I didn't choose the fandom life, the fandom life grabbed my hand and whispered run"  one....

Sherlock one....

Doctor Who ones..... the heart one are quotes by Amy Pond and Rory ....  (larger below)

And a few World of Warcraft ones for me!

THANK YOU REDBUBBLE.COM ... you rock!

Bubba and Alyvia & Marshmellow ....  he gave me the plague ....

This cat and his boy.....

So watching TV tonight....

So as I'm writing my blog (after watching the season premiere of Survivor) I am watching Catfish and I have to say ......  I love Max & Nev.

Today they start off the episode throwing production under the bus with the make-shift table in their room... that is set up on some "Janky Boxes" ..  no really, one of them is named "Janky Box" ...

"Up top it's all glossy and nice, but underneath it's just a couple of janky boxes" ....

This just made me laugh so much.  It actually says "Janky Box" ....

So I watched Little Women Atlanta today (almost caught up, I didn't realize it had started up again.) ... DB and I checked out this new show called "The Pop Game" or something like that... it's interesting... watched the season premiere of Survivor... Catfish...  watched the movie John Wick ... and started the new season of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

I do hope to sleep at some point tonight.

(PS: I went to get the Red Bubble website and ended up putting more stickers in my cart! it's an ADDICTION!)

Excuse Me While I Sleep ...

It was a long long night.  We didn't get home until after 10pm last night.  I was trying to write up my blog for yesterday and get it done, and ..... well.....

I don't remember what I watched last night, I don't remember anything ...  I just know that as
I however, at this point - started to fall asleep.  I was sitting up in bed with my laptop on my lap, sleeping.  At some point, DB got up, he took my laptop away from me, he was covering me up..  there aren't very many moments like this, that I can remember of him being so sweet and so amazing. But I know they are always there because he is sweet and amazing soooooo much.

I do have memories of coming "to" in the middle of the night, and him stroking my face or my hair ... and calling me beautiful.  And let me tell you how healing and amazing and how that makes my heart soar when I have felt nothing but ugly and unattractive for as long as I can remember.  I can look back now, with some confidence, and know I never was ...  but that's how I felt.

We slept in so late this morning.  And then we ended up sleeping MORE during the day.  DB and I were both just so wiped.  And I guess I had a seizure this morning, so that's no fun.

But it's inching up on Midnight ... and for once, I'm going to try and go to sleep.  Goodnight world...

DB: (punches the bed with his finger) "my iPhone...."
I turn over "what?"
DB: "my notes were....I can't find my notes. Your are just going to have to wait until tomorrow to read them...if you want."
Me: seriously lost, blinking wildly.....
I have no idea what just happened.

I am one tired Momma .....

This is going on .....  he looks like he's in pain ...

I woke up at almost 11am....  pricked my finger and found ...  not so good, but BUT wayyy better than the sometimes 500 that I see :/  or did see a lot - in the past....

This hair slays me.  SLAYS me ...  Headphone hair.  He looks like a tiny pineapple.......   wait.

I like BIG POPSICLES and I cannot lie!  So a lot of Nathan's fluid intake can come from popsicles so we really try to keep them stalked up.

While I was working (or not working as the case may be) I watched this new Hallmark Movie.  Walking The Dog.  It was really cute.  About two lawyers who end up being on opposing ends coming together in the end.

Meanwhile Livvy wanted to just hang out on me.

Cal wanted to earn some money so he cleaned the garage.

Funny story, Nana & Papa's cat - Callie Joe - is the house ruler.  She rules the dogs, she rules everything.  She's not afraid of no one.  So she comes out of Nana & Papa's room and Alyvia comes over to my side of the bed, stands up with her feet on the bed, back feet on the floor, stretches all the way out and perks up.... watching Callie Joe from the safety of Mom's side.

The Grammy's were on tonight.  Some of it was great - some not so much.  I do love James!

This cat though .... every night she comes and gets between me and my laptop to the point where I can't see my screen.  LOL....
