Coffee & Hate ....

DB and I were talking this morning ....  I was telling him about a graphic I had seen and shared this morning.......

And then we were laughing about how much it sounds like DB....

..... but then DB says....  something and I remember laughing .... and then I said something like...

"Only with you, it's more like - Some people require inspirational quotes to start their day.  Me: Caffeine and Hate .... and then hate all day ..."  LOL

BUT as we were driving - running errands .... he was getting more and more hateful at drivers ....

I was like ... that coffee lasted long ...

He goes .....  "Well, people happened....."

and then we laughed and I ended up coming home and making these .....

The second one is the quote that we actually said in the car and we laughed at, then DB goes "you need to make that into a graphic"  .... lol....

So I did .....

March 24th in Review..... It's a GIRL!!!!

Today was filled with ALL KINDS of AWESOME NEWS!!!

Before we get to that, lets take a look at the loooooovely Washington Weather....

LOVE IT!!!!

Me, waking up this morning.  Oye.  I hate that mornings are the WORST for me.  I am usually so tired when I wake up, like I can't function tired.  Sometimes I just have no choice but to go back to sleep but I really try to fight it - and make myself have "normal hours" because sleeping a lot only makes me want to sleep more.  I have my awesome rare cat :)

Had to put together my pills today ...... 18 pills a day. 11 types of pills. 3 daytime. 15 nightime. I have an occasional pain killer, that makes 12 types of meds. 2 creams for my skin. And waiting for approval ...Humira (2 injections a month) for the Psoriasis, and my insulin ...long acting one shot a day. 15 right now, total. Plus Light Therapy. ... You know you are sick when you take a pharmacy.  #sickofsick #psoriasis #psoriasissucks #CFS #ChronicFatigueSyndrome #fibro #Fibromyalgia #autoimmunedisorder #myimmunesystemsucks #MyalgicEncephalopathy #dearimmunesystemWORK

First bit of AWESOMESAUCE NEWS!!!!!!!!

From what I've read, they are coming back for 2 seasons (so far) with short 6 to 10 episodes (6 for the first season) ....

HELL YEAH I'M READY!!!!

Jaxson today.  He's becoming my new BFF ... LOL.... he likes to lay with me ....

I got dressed ..... got the BIG HUGE 20 WEEK ULTRASOUND today .....

Jaxson ... love him.  Oye....

So I took the kids the the 20 week ultrasound.  So honored I got to be there.  Shila likes me there for her appointments and such, but she's a handful.  LOL....

We got a HUGE kick out of the fact that her belly exposed EXACTLY where the baby was.

Everything was AWESOME.  Heartbeat was 153 BPM.  Baby is measuring about 10 oz.  Annnnd....

IT's A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooooo excited!!  I tend to "guess" wrong ... my gut feeling is usually the OPPOSITE of what it is.  So I said BOY in hopes it would be a girl!  WOOT!!!

Daddy shed a tear and Shila and I were high-fiving in the ultrasound room.

So when we got home, I gave the boys all the choice to pick a red or blue chip.  Red for GIRL and Blue for BOY ... and they all stuck with their original choices.  All the boys but Nathan picked BOY... Nathan was the ONLY one that picked GIRL.

So I made this for Kale and Shila to announce it on Facebook.   Her name is Elly because her theme is Elephants (was going to be elephants boy or girl) .... but they liked Elly for a girl Elly the Elephant.  Anyway .... "Anne" is after his mom, who died.  Her middle name was Ann.  And then my middle name Rae for her middle name.  And I am TRULY honored they decided to do that.  It means a ton to  me.  I kept telling them they didn't have to do that.  So I'm really honored they did.

Kale wanted me to post it and tag him and Shi in it.  Then he shared it on his page too.

So - let me tell you a little story.  So one of Kale's MANY step-mom's likes to comment on his stuff  (this was on the announcement where he shared it from my page) - usually ONLY about the baby.  We'll call her "C" ....  so "C" kinda came out of the woodwork once we announced that Shila was pregnant.  And she's acting like she's the MAIN Grandma - like she's it.  So it really pisses me off because she like came out of the woodwork when Shila announced she was pregnant and before that - not so much.   I get she's excited.  But here is what pisses me off.  If she loves Kale and Shila so much, if she's such a good "mother" ... where the hell was she when Kale and Shila were on the streets, HOMELESS, for months????   Where was she when Kale called her up and said "Shila could be pregnant" while they were on the streets and she had a miscarriage?   Where???  I have said it before, and I will say it again ....  I found out they were on the streets, and there was a plan to get them in five minutes.  I didn't even know Shila and she was welcome too because I trust Kale wouldn't put my family in harms way because he knows my kids and their struggles.   Yeah, sure, it hasn't always been easy but I think being here has done them a lot of good.  Neither of them had good families, and they don't know what a solid family is.  They have a relative here or there that truly want them to succeed but most of the family (for both of them) do nothing but tear them down.  And it angers me SO MUCH.

So when I saw this comment, I just kinda blew it.   Started on Kale about "Where the F was SHE?" feelings and he's all nodding "I know Mom I know."   Maybe I'm being selfish.  Maybe I am being possessive .... but they are MINE now.  I'm their Mom.

It's the "Yay I get to spoil a little girl this grandma is a very happy grandma Love you guys congrats" comment.

It just got SO under my skin.  I begged Kale to let me say something.  Begged him.  He's like "No Mom, don't say anything mean cuz then I have to deal with the aftermath."

True.  True.

But I can kill her with kindness right????

Bam!!!  In your FACE.  I'm really not a mean person but when someone is doing that crap I'm just grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...

In the meantime, she posts this - tagging Kale and Shi with MY GRAPHIC and one she apparently put together herself.  The whole 8/15 threw us all off because the baby's due date is 8-11-15 ....  then I realized, it was month and year.

And then in the comments she says "I had made 2 one for a boy and one for a girl lol" and I just got mad.  At that time, without her saying which one she had "made" .... I felt as if she were trying to take credit for the graphic I made.  And it's not the only one she's saved and posted.  She's done it with the other ultrasound pictures too and stuff.  It would just be nice if she said "Hey I'm really excited, do you mind if I save your graphic and share it???"

Course....  I never ask.

This is the graphic she "made" ....

* shivers * .... whatever.  Like Elsa said, LET IT GO ... right?

However, Kale saw the comment I left about the name and being there when she's born and he comes to my room and he goes "Really?"   I was all "I wasn't MEAN!!!!  There wasn't one MEAN word Kale!!"   He shakes his head and laughs.   "I give it 24 hours before I get a message from her complaining that I didn't use her name."  UPDATE:  And sure enough she did.  He woke up Wednesday morning to a message from her "Why are you using this girls name and not mine?"  She was even pissed he was using his bio-Mom's name!!  I mean PLEASE.  Again, where the hell was she when they were on the streets for months.  And anyone saying "I couldn't afford to take them in".... I couldn't really either, but I still did.

This is the crib set they want.

So it was a looooooong exciting day.  And I ended it with some cuddles from the cat.

March 6th in Review (day 80 of Red Spots)

I had a hard time sleeping last night.

Rolled my hair again today ...... just one this time.  Two doesn't seem to work real well.

Went to run errands this morning. Ending with me getting fake baked (as in Light Box Therapy for the psoriasis.)  ....  brought this guy with.  We stopped off at the school to drop off Kaedyn's epipen.  So I thought it would be nice to sit there and visit his teachers.  One of them wasn't there.  But they loved to see him and thought - commented a lot - on how BIG he's gotten.

He was such a clown after I got fake baked.....

Heehee... he's so silly .....

Gallifrey.  We think someone cat napped Bear :(  ....  crying.....

Noah working on his workbook.  OMG ....  if I had known giving this kid a calculator would make as much of a difference as it did - I would have done it a looooooooooooong time ago!!!  Instead of fighting with him on average 10 minutes per problem (NOT EVEN KIDDING) .... encouraging him and telling him he's not stupid - he can totally do this - he's got this.....  and just handing him the support of a calculator....... and watched him do around 80 problems on two pages ON HIS OWN WITH NO HELP!  And he was doing it the correct way (they were double digit addition problems, doing the columns.)  He would figure out one column at a time.  OMG .... what a difference and YAY!

Our new basket for crayons and markers.  Nathan wanted to do his work in different colors today.

Held the Pups a little today.  Drove Mama nuts.   Brown one is a boy, Dublin.  White one is a girl, Karma.  White one looks JUST LIKE Max it's not even funny.  Spots in the same spots, maybe more mirror image than exactly.  First week, I try not to touch them a lot.

So after DB got home from his doctors appointment, I asked him to take a picture of my back.  Since I had to take off my shirt, I decided to change it.  LOL.......  this picture just cracks me up.

Day 80 of spots.  108 seconds in the light box today.  I think that things are definitely getting better.  My skin feels like..... though ... the only way I can think to describe it....... crispy crunchy fried chicken skin.

Nathan got a bath after doing his homework.  Nana and Papa (I guess Papa picked them out) got Nathan an OWL towel (and Kaedyn a Monkey one) .... Nathan loooooves it.  He likes to put his hands in the little hand pockets there are and flapping his "wings" ... lol....  which usually involves flashing! LOL ....

So tonight I did three nights worth of bags..... took from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.   LOL... Oye!!!   But I love the multi-monster one.  Definitely one of my favorites.

This boy.  Oye.  He has my heart wrapped up and tucked in his pocket.  I don't have favorites, but he is my baby.  Nathan juggles my heart.  LOL....  He makes my heart SOAR with pride and love.   Noah, he tucks my heart in his backpack he carries around everywhere.  He wants independence, but he wants me there, in the background right now.  He wants and needs me - just a short reach away.  And Cal, well....  he has my heart on a shelf.  He's an adult, he doesn't NEED me much anymore.  He's his own person.  He still needs my understanding, and guidance, my love and support....  but he doesn't need it as much.  This one though, Kaedyn, he still needs me whole heartedly ....

So I decided last night, I really need to get things under control.  I am so tired of being in bed.  So I thought, since I've been doing really good on my one app of recording how I'm feeling every day, even my weight.... it's time I start to keep track of my blood sugar, my diet, exercise, etc... and lets see where I am really at as for where I *think* I am at.  But what I thought was hilarious...  Angry Birds and Candy Crush in the middle of "Diabetes" apps .....  What .... the.... heck?

Just a little thought to end with.

March 5th in Review .....

So I want to say  now that I decided to do a "day in review" type of blog for my entries in March.  And some of my "daily" activities are more suited for the entries over at My Unique Flowers because it has to do more with the daily care of Nathan, and with stuff dealing with Noah.  However, since the thing is "my day in review" and it includes that stuff, I am going to go ahead and cross post that stuff.  However, it's not a "daily" thing over on MUF.  It's periodic blogs.  I am doing a daily challenge over there though, a Trisomy Journey for the month of March to support Trisomy Awareness Month (March) that I found and started (caught up on) today.  So be sure to check that out too!

Anyway - so this morning I woke up just hurting.

Kaedyn missed school again ....  the meds he's on for his allergic reaction has just been knocking him out and making him so tired.  Hopefully this is the last day, last night was the last day of that med.

I looked up a bunch of graphics for over at the MUF blog as I caught up with the "Trisomy Journey" challenge over there.  I just saw it today.

I woke up and really wanted to do my hair.  I want to do this multi-roll thing - and this was today's attempt, but it's hard because you need two hands to roll, but you also need a hand to hold the rolls you've done so they don't get messed up.... ha ha ha ....

I have to say I love this picture (below)

Kaedyn woke up and was feeling pretty good so he asked if he could go outside and play today - and I told him he could.  It's so nice today.  But ....awwwwwwwwww.....  he's so handsome!!!  He's growing up so much!

Noah and I took these .....

That boy needs his nails cut something HORRIBLE but he WON'T let me do it......  UGH.  He starts crying (practically) every time I suggest we do it.

I have been in and out of bed today - YAY.....  I must be starting to get better :)  I'm excited for that.  I take advantage of the pain easing up and little bit of energy I have been getting :)

So I do my weight every morning before I eat.  This has been my weight for almost the last month.  It fluctuates in the 190's ....

Looked up more graphics......

As I was creation these Trisomy Awareness Graphics with Pictures of Noah (the prints are Noah's) .... so I made these today.

When I had a few minutes of being bored... LOL.... I did some quizzes....

Which Two Foods are You and Your Partner?

How Is Your Heart Actually Divided ... I did this a second time because some of them I was half and half on the answers.....  so that one came back 75% Logical and 25% Passionate.  So I think my TRUE results are probably even ....

What Is Your Faction In Divergent?

What Animal Were You In A Past Life?

Usually I do 3 bags at a time for Nate's feed, one for the night and 2 for the fridge for the next two nights, but I was running so late at this point I just did a quick one for tonight.

And I caught myself ALMOST having one of these moments.  (both ports are open, pouring the meds in the syringe - it would have come pouring out) ....

I made one more graphic for Trisomy Awareness .....

My bed buddy for tonight .........
