Pacific Science Center ~ Butterfly House

It was just an over all amazing day.   They changed the PSC a lot since the last time we were there, and honestly, I like the OLD set up better then the new one.  This one is more filled with chaos if you ask me.  I know we went on a busy day but ....  it was really chaotic ...

And they got rid of some of our favorite things, like the huge oversized furniture that made little kids look like dolls sitting on them.

But alas, he had something for all my kids, that they really enjoyed.  Harry Potter for the older boys, Dinosaurs for Nathan (and all the kids enjoyed it) ... and the Butterfly House for Kaedyn.  Now, we went in with all the boys, Nathan was AFRAID of the butterflies, one landed on the sidewalk infront of him and he literally had a melt down screaming, so Cal ended up leaving with him and we walked around with Kaedyn and Noah.  Kaedyn was amazed,  he LOVED it.  We were given large front and back laminated guides, and told DO NOT TOUCH THE BUTTERFLIES because their habitat was fragile...  And I was secretly jumping out of my skin excited to take photos.

 Butterflies......
 More Butterflies.......
Kaedyn was amazed by this butterfly that was flying about... I know the picture is blurry but it's the blackish spot infront of him, in the greenery ...
 Butterfly up close......
These ones with the "eyeballs" ... they were a gorgeous blue on the inside, I kept trying to get photos....

This one below is the one that freaked Nathan out causing him to leave the butterfly house...

We would walk around and Kaedyn would find a butterfly and then pick it out on the guide ... he would watch but he never tried to touch, he was amazingly good in there...

This tree with these flowers hanging from it was just beautiful ...
 This is the tree
Kaedyn putting away the guide before we were leaving ...
See Kaedyn but the square box?  If you look just beyond him ... Nathan is in blue on the bronze Caterpillar...
 Nathan on the caterpillar
 Kaedyn on the caterpillar ....
