3 Weeks Old

Elly is 21 days today ..  3 weeks today.  

She had a doctors appointment  She was 19 1/2 inches and 7lbs 2oz.

The rest of Elly's umbilical cord, that was still in her belly button ...  fell out while we were at the DR today.

Elly had a DRs appt today, she was 19 1/2 inches and 7lbs 2oz... She was 6lbs 2oz at her appt on August 7th. You can see she's gained some weight. Did her two week old photo shoot yesterday, which is awesome cuz she's 3 weeks old today! HA! Got some food and told the parents to get some sleep - they are usually up most of the night with her, and I take care of her during the day so they can get some decent sleep. Now that Kale is working full time over nights - Shila's all by herself taking care of her unless I happen to still be awake. Usually she brings her to me in the early morning to put her to sleep for her - so she can sleep a little. I wouldn't ever turn down Elly cuddles. Just wish I would feel better. unsure emoticon Wish everyone in the house felt better, this cold is nasty.

Got home and put her down to sleep, and Thor jumped in there....

Since when did Storage Wars become a murder show?  "A young mother is found beaten to death in her New Orleans home" ... um...  who found her???  Jared and Brandi?  No no!!!  Tell me it was Dave!!  Dave found her.  Clearly Dave did it ....

Week 3 Though her movements are still random and jerky, your baby can control her body in one amazing way by this week. She can snuggle! As you hold her, watch how she adjusts her posture towards you. She finds your arms and even your scent calming and comforting. There couldn't be a more perfect and relaxing way for the two of you to bond.
