Rabid Flus...

So it’s been a LONG last week & weekend… the flu ran rabid in our house and we all got hit to some varying degree. Noah got hit the worst, then Cal, then me, then Nathan, then Kaedyn and Dennis. It seemed to ease up a little bit with each one of us it went through to get to another. Now we’re all better and :::whew::: the flu is all gone. Seems like the swine flu is still on the rise though. So far we have 3 confirmed cases in Wisconsin, and 66 suspected cases. You’d think that Texas or California would have the highest number (Texas has 40, California has 26) … but the number one state right now, is NEW YORK with 63. Yikes!!

There was a DR in WA state who saw he full day of patients before realizing she wasn’t feeling well, she ended up not being confirmed yet. Now, DRs are suppose to wash their hands all the time, so if that is our greatest defense at this, apparently it isn’t working.

Anyway … I heard a joke the other day… it’s one of those stupid jokes you just can’t help but snicker at…. It was something like…

"They once said that a black man would be president when pigs fly. His first 100 days and **BAM** SWINE FLU!"

My mom and I were talking last night, and she told me that she’s been taping TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL … well she’s taping them off TV cuz apparently she can’t find a DVD Set.. anyway … she said the episode was that Tess went to a school to be a teacher, because this little boy (African American) was going to be a terrorist (or something like that) and she went to change his life path. So by the end of the show, this little boy is looking up at Tess as she asks him what he’s going to be when he grows up and he says “I am going to be the 50^th President”… my mom thought that was awesome because if you take into account those double terms of the last few presidents, that show almost got it on the money! Whodathunkit?
